British Weapons

Tower Musket Mk.3

The Tower Musket Mk.3 is the primary weapon of the British Army during the time of 1815. Not known for it's accuracy or reliability but it is known for it's incredible power. This musket fires one 75 calibre round ball and 3 32 calibre round balls nested on top of it, so with each shot was 4 shots going down range. This idea was later used to create the Shotgun.

Effective Range: 90 feet
Calibre: 1 x 0.75, 3 x 0.32

Baker Rifle

The Baker Rifle is a very accurate rifle used by Rifle infantry of the British Army. The Baker Rifle is incredibly accurate and powerful but it only fires one shot instead of 4 so there is less chance of hitting the target.

Effective Range: Approx 230 feet
Calibre: 1 x 0.625

Tower Pistol

The Tower Pistol most commonly used with officers as a mark of distinction is a pistol with good power but heavy recoil and very poor range and accuracy. Although shots from the pistol have been known to reach 60 feet it is only accurate to a range of about 20 feet.

Effective Range: 60 feet
Calibre: 1 x 0.45

Cannons

Cannons are seen quite frequently and are able to be used by Jameson. The cannons fire 2 types of ball, solid shot or explosive. However explosive ones do not always blow up on target and sometimes the fuse dies away during flight. Solid Shots fire further and typically are more damaging.

Range: Up to 1 mile +
Calibre: 6 Pounder to 18 pounder used by the British, the name of the cannon was the weight of the shot fired from it, i.e. 18 pounder, the shot weighed 18 pounds.

French Weapons

Charleville

An accurate and powerful musket, the Charleville is the French equivelant of the British Tower Musket of their infantry. The Charleville is reliable and is considered as one of the best muskets there was. However the Charleville was not as powerful as the Brown Bess Smoothbore.

Effective Range
Calibre: 1 x 0.69
