WIGAN INCE ROSE BRIDGE 22 - 0  WATERHEAD 0

The lads travelled to arguably the best team in the league with eight fit players and two with flu, but this summed up the spirit which runs throughout the team. Playing on a full size pitch for the first time against a fully fit Ince team that boasted 5 substitutes the lads where stunned by early tries from Ince.
With no substitutes the lads had to dig deep and compete with a team who regularly knock 40 to 50 points up against opposing teams.
In the last ten minutes Ince became frustrated with Waterheads refusal to give up the game and tempers became frayed, the only down side of an entertaining game was Ince coaching staffs insistance on their substitutes joining the fray when things boiled over.
Man of match award went to Jack Kilgannon, top tackler award to Jacob Rothwell, parents award to Nathan Mas
on.

WATERHEAD 44-54 HINDLEY

The lads entertained Hindley and started the game very rusty, the tackling wasnt up to usual standards, in the second half they put up a sparkling display to lead the game with 5 minutes to go, but two easy tries snatched the game away.
Man of the match was Nathan Mason, top tackler was Cameron Joyce and parents player making his league debut was alex fallon.
Try scorers Jordan curtis 3, Jacob rothwell 3, Nathan Mason 2
