Rugby League action from the Community game is set to hit our screens on Monday night as Code XIII - Grassroots on Manchester based Channel M.
The first of five one-hour long shows, Code XIII Grassroots is set to feature action and analysis from all aspects of the Community game played within the North West.
After the success of the original Code XIII which featured action from the professional side of the game, Channel M, in association with the RFL, has agreed to create a show which uniquely concentrates on the action at the grassroots level.
The inaugural showing of the programme will be broadcast at 7.30pm on Monday the October 30 and is planned to be shown on Monday November 27; Monday January 1, Monday February 5 and Monday March 5 . The show will also be repeated nine times at various times during the week.

Great Britain Community Lions selection festival
Student Rugby League (SRL) derby between Manchester University and Manchester Met
Waterhead v Saddleworth Rangers in the National Conference League (NCL)

A special feature of Parkside Golbourne ARLFC

Speaking about the new show a delighted Steve Manning, BARLA Media Manager & PRO, said: Its been a dream of mine and, probably millions of other people, to see a television programme dedicated to amateur Rugby League as well as its hundreds of thousand of unsung volunteers. The viewer will have the chance to see that there is life outside the engage Super League and stars of the future who dream about becoming full time professionals. In the opening show of the series all that is on offer.
