A Message from Craig Larrabee, WATC Pres.
WE DID IT! CONGRATULATIONS WATC!!
Our annual Specialty Show held on Sat. July 26th was a huge success and is one for the record books! With perfect weather, our best entry ever, including many of the top Airedales in the nation, showed to perfection in a special ring location that was customized just for Airedales. Located between the grooming area and our special breakfast and luncheon tent, the ring was ideally placed for both exhibitors and spectators. From the fabulous trophies, to the wonderful Grab n' Go breakfast and delicious luncheon that were served to 150 individuals, our presentation was recognized by all as "top notch."
Our success in this, our biggest venture ever, was the perfect complement to the National Floater held the day before at Olympia Resort. A weekend of festivities and events attended by Airedalers from throughout the U.S., Canada, and S. America, was successfully presented through the cooperation and hard work of many individuals from the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois Airedale Terrier Clubs. The 2008 Great Lakes Floater was the culmination of years of planning and its success was the result of what dedication and determination can achieve.
To all WATC members who participated in the planning and presentation of this special "one of a kind" weekend, a hearty Thank You and Congratulations!
