Remember the old site?
March 16th, 2006 -- A few of you fantastic folks may remember my old Avril Lavigne site, Wasted Emotions, that I closed for obvious reasons (my lack of talent at making graphics, the clear unorganization of everything, and the fact that I soon gave up on it because it was just getting out of hand; not to mention that it was hosted by the awful Angelfire that changed its ads every few weeks and constantly forced me to recode everything while blissfully making my site even more unattractive).Anyway, after some consideration, learning that Avril's site is now free, and the discovery of a free graphics program on my computer almost exactly like Photoshop have led me to believe that I may be able to start running Wasted Emotions again. However, now I've learned what not to do, so everything will be different and I'm basically starting from scratch. Also, I am not going to let this site run my life as I have plently of other things to be doing (not to mention I still have another site that didn't go down with the original Wasted Emotions).
So, I decided to chop off the following things that were on the original site: official bios, quotes, picture gallery, Avril's journal, Avril as a kid, the other bio I wrote about her, info about the band, ringtones,
That leaves the rest of this stuff: desktops, stats, blends and graphics, news, lyrics, and of course all the site crap. But not to fear, as the blends, graphics, and desktops are going to be muchos better, and the lyrics more organised.
To sum up, I'm hoping this site'll be a lot better. I think I had a little falling out there where I wasn't one of Avril's top ten fans, but I'm back now (tee hee). Well, this was quite an exciting speech.
