Warrensburg Emergency Medical Services, Inc.

"Our Patients Are Our First Priority"

About Us

"Our Members Are Our Greatest Asset"

The Warrensburg Emergency Medical Service Inc. has been proudly serving the Town of Warrensburg (Warren County) since October of 1999. Protecting a population of approximately 4,300 people, the squad provides both paid and volunteer emergency service.

WEMS is dispatched for an emergency call through the Warren County Sheriffs Communications Center. After a caller dials 911, the call is sent to a trained EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatcher) and then paged, or toned out to fire and/or EMS monitors. The dispatcher informs us about the location of the call, what the call is, the age and sex of the patient, as well as if they are conscious and alert. This is vial information EMS members need to know.

As for the membership, each member is asked to pull as much "duty time" as possible, yet this is not mandated.

Stop by the squad building, which is located behind the Subway shop on King Street. Or call us at 623-4911 for more information , or an application. EMS is not just about the front lines, we have jobs for everyone.
