Welcome to the Warrensburg EMS web site.
For the year 2008 we ranked 3rd highest in call response in the county. With the exception of a few 'leased' ALS providers we are a total volunteer squad. Beginning with the year 2009 we will have a full time paid Operations Manager. The administrative responsibilities for this position are varied and time consuming, and too much, we feel, to put on the shoulders of a volunteer. Steve Emerson has accepted this position with us, and we feel we have made an excellent choice in Steve. He brings experience, knowledge, and dedication in both the administrative and medical area, to the position. Steve has been responsible in turning WEMS around during the past three to five years, and brought the squad to it's present position of third ranked in response in Warren County.
Under Steve's leadership, and the unequaled dedication of our volunteers, Warrensburg EMS enjoys an excellent reputation of quality performance and dedication by it's members. We are always receiving applications for new members. We hope this trend continues, and we feel confident it will.
Our Board of Directors is totally dedicated to providing the squad with the latest in equipment and training. Their support is unequaled in the County.
Thanks for visiting our site.
