     The Warren District Volunteer Fire Department was established in May 1978.  We are located on State Route 20 North approximately 6 miles from Buckhannon in Hodgesville, WV.  Station 6 is one of seven fire departments that serve Upshur County. We are comprised of all Volunteers with no paid staff. We are on call 24 hours per day. Station 6 answers 150+ calls per year. We provide fire and emergency services to the northern part of Upshur County. We run automatic and mutual aid to other fire departments in Upshur, Barbour, Lewis and Harrison Counties as well as Upshur County EMS.
