Welcome to War Horse Pines!

War Horse Pines is our homestead, located in north-eastern Maine. It consists of 90+ acres of timber and pasture with house and barns.  You can see aerial views and landscape photos on the photos page or by going to our Webshots page at http://community.webshots.com/user/jenni021669 

Visit our Order page to see what we have for sale at the Order Page.  There you can see our Draping Chatelaine, perfect for sewers of any type, embroidery, crewel, and quilters.  Keep checking back as we add new items!

You can also come in and visit our Homesteading Forum.  There you can ask questions and get information on homesteading, crafts, recipes, home-made cleaning and personal care products, native gardening and much more!  You will have to register, but everything is free.  And you can follow along and read about all the trials, tribulations and triumphs of our homestead.

The forum is also where you can post questions or join in groups about anything that relates to homesteading including -  animal husbandry, vegtables, herbs, timbering,garden and household tips.  There are also groups on states, where you can discuss all of these things on the particualr state you live in.
