Goalkeepers

Nic "Archie" Archer

Going into his second season as a Saints player. A reliable goalkeeper whose main strengths are handling and shot stopping. Signed by Jack O'Neill to replace Mark Wyatt, this top-class 'keeper has stayed in the Saints squad as they go into 11-a-side.

Player most like: Paul Robinson

Matthew "Eveezy" Evans

The player/manager who has played in defence and goal for both All Saints and G14. Now a defender but a superb understudy when called upon. He also juggles his managerial and playing duties to great affect. A realtive fo Sir Alf  Ramsey and had distinct similarities in the management department to the great man himself. As well as similarities to taibis goalkeeping style and his beard.

Player most like: Massimo Taibi

Defenders
Mark "The Squirrel" Wyatt

In his 7th season as a Saints player, this experienced defender helps out the newcomers and can slot into almost any defensive position. The veteran of the team, teaches the younger and less experienced players his wisdom and tells stories of the old days. Lacks pace but has much experience and strength.

Player most like: Gary Neville

Ian "Grantage" Grant

Has been an All Saints player for 3 years now and going into his 4th year. He has played many positions for the Saints, including striker, but will now be settling into the centre back role. Known for his crazy celebrations when he scores and his weird dances, he also holds an advantage over other men by having one more muscle then they do.

Player most like: Anton Ferdinand

Jack"Garnichte" Garnish

An ex-G14 player, has always played in a league opposite All Saints and now will be joining them going into 11-a-side. A player who can use both his right foot and his head. Was a key player for both G14 and Immanuel Flames, playing All Saints for both teams, and now will be another key player added to the squad.

During his time at G14, Garnichte built up a good defensive partnership, with Garnichte darting forward and Yates staying back to steady the ship when needed. Garnichte was massive in defence all season, and we can only hope he carries that form with him to the next.

Player most like: Senderos

Jack"Oneezy" O'Neill

The player/Owner of Wanstead Saints and ex manager of All Saints. A reliable left back who uses to his pace and strength to help the team. Although often does too much skill and loses the ball, he also lacks height which can hinder him in aerial battles.A right footed left back which can sometimes be a disadvantage, but he is strong in the tackle and very tactically aware which can help if any troubles come about.

Player most like: Garth Bale

Matthew "Eveezy" Evans

The Former G14 Gaffer and now part of the Wanstead Saints Management Team. A very Strong and Solid defender who is prepared to put his body on the line for the team. Cna use this strenght tooo much and has been known to be slightly over-zealous in tackles and he picks up quite a few cautions. He is very good in goal mouth scrambles at both ends of the pitch., and he is extremely prone to getting goals through lucky deflections. Occasionally gets paced though by the opposing striker. Has a powerful strike yet they sometimes fly high and wide.

A relative of Sir Alf Ramsey and is very alike in Managerial and playing technique. A true solid centre back who can and likes to smack a ball one.Has a similar laugh to Boyice. Player most like: Danny Mills

Dominic "suage" Suant

A very talented Centre back with an areial ability, that without him the defence would lack. He is strong and quick a great addition to the first team. Although he has not a great deal of technical ability makes up for it with his strength and pace which keeps the defence solid.

Player most like: Sol Campbell

Midfielders

Elliott "Smell" Greaves

Another player who has always been on the opposing side of All Saints, but is now joining them for 11-a-side, Greaves has great vision and executes passes which can carve open a defence in an instant. Although he is not blessed with pace, strength or courage Greaves stratigically uses his body to his advantage. Greaves is a classy midfielder with a lot of technical abiltiy if he improved on his tactical awareness he could well be one for the future.

Player most like: Emre

Terry "Terrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy" Coleman

A versatile player with lots of determination. The midfield general, known for his slide tackles in the centre of the field, although he sometimes can go on runs that lead to nothing. A vital member to the team, who gives 100% everytime he puts on the Wanstead Saints shirt. Often in his sapre time he likes to chirps jenny "dorito"crisp when he isnt busy. After a summer of hard training he looks frighting in pre season. In his second season for Wanstead Saints it could be a breakthrough season for Coleman and if it is, it will look bright for WS!

Player most like: Aliaksandr Hleb

Edward "Back Flip Eddy" Nichola

Signed to the club by Matt Evans from G14. Has a sublime touch and can go round players with ease. Has a powerful long range effort, but often relied on it too much to get goals. Can dwell on the ball for to long but usually a reliable player who never lets the team down.

Player most like: Frank Lampard

Joe "Skip" Thomson

Thomson has vision that cannot be matched by no other player on the team. He somehow manages to get around players with ease, with his quick feet and skill. He needs to work on putting more weight on to his frame. He is the Captain of the team and leads by example. A great setpeice specialist. A loud influence in the dressing room.

Player most like: Micheal Carrick

Daryl "Dazzat" Townsen

A player who has played for All Saints 5-a-side a few times as well as playing for G14 on occasion. The left midfielder of the team, although he can occasionally be found at left back. Townson can often be seen telling team mates the best eleven, although this changes hourly with the exception to his place in the starting eleven. Although he lacks pace, he has supreme strength and extremely long throws. Also a Loud bubbly figure who can boost spirits in the dressing room.

Player most like: Luis Figo

Geoff White

A tall and languid player who always gives his all. An unknown comodity at the moment but the players are all looking forward to playing alongside him. White can play at either left midfield or anywhere across the defence. He has a much needed physical presence which should help the team progress this season.

Strikers

Mark "Ja Rule" Thomas

Originally a centre back, Jack O'Neill saw that his true talents lied elsewhere, and now plays him up front regularly. Neither he nor O'Neill have looked back since. His shots are strong and powerful which are often to hard for goalkeepers to hold. Comes across as the perfect striker with his pace as well, but as the game goes on you will see he has the touch of a rapist.

Player most like: Didier Drogba

John Warne

A player who is always making space and working hard, already had a strike partnership with Mark Thomas for All Saints and his now hoping to resurrect it for Wanstead Saints. His main strengths are finishing and skill, but sometimes could pass more when upfront.

Player most like: Fernando Morientes
