Some diets we like the look of (but haven't neccessarily tried since our eating disorders developed - we haven't enough control to do these normally):
- Weightwatchers - absolutely fantastic! So easy to fit around your life, quite healthy, loads of yummy treats, really well organised and so much support!
- Atkins - this can work sometimes, sometimes doesn't. Really hard to stick to, really disasterous if you fail it (so much bingeing, so much weightgain!) and unhealthy too.
- Sacred Heart - this seems to work really well if you're overweight. However it's hard to stick to - so so strict!
- Cabbage Soup - one word..."Yuck".
- Slimfast - hard to stick to as you get hungry!
- South Beach - tastes nice, but too exact making it hard to stick to.
- Anorexic diets such as the 2468 - DON'T DO IT unless you want to die.
However, most of us say just don't bother! Many of them are money-making schemes, and many are unhealthy, and very few work. It's much more fun making your own diet that you enjoy, that fits around your life, and that you can stick to!
