Hello,

Is spring here yet?  I wish!  It is getting warmer....  but very slowly!

We are beginning weaning of the babies....  time for them to grow up and be big girls now.  They will also begin halter training soon.  They have a big show to get ready for in May.

The boys will also be returning to the show as adults this year...  We are very excited to see how the do.  Looking for more ribbons for sure with them!

Come on out and cheer them on!  It's May 2 and 3 in Davisburg MI at the 4H Oakland County Fairgrounds.  Admission is free, so come on out and have a good time seeing all the adorable alpacas!

Hi Everyone,

This has been a very tough winter for us!  Way too cold and way too much snow!  Of course, the pacas don't seem to mind it at all!

Hope you all had a good Holiday season and will see you in the spring

Fall 2008

It has been a busy summer.  We spent some time out east looking at possible herdsires for the farm.  Met a lot of new friends along the way.

In September we had our last cria for the year, a beautiful bay black girl named Raindrop.  She was born on a very rainy Friday ( we were being hit with the remnants of Ike ).  So, she and everyone else were just dripping with raindrops..  ie... the name  smile

Later in September we attended the Michigan International Alpaca Festival in Birch Run.  It was fun and we met a lot of nice people.  The two boys did well in the spin-off.  They took a first and a third place ribbon.  My son won a blue ribbon in his very first obstacle class with our younger boy Magic.  We are very proud of his accomplishement!

I am now in the process of learning to felt the critter's fiber.

Talk again soon!

Welcome
