Rally Attendance
Wallangarra tries to keep our rally classes to approximately 5-7 riders.  It is very important that we know the number of members attending each rally so that we can develop the rally programme and secure the services of the instructors, whilst keeping class sizes small.
We therefore ask riders to inform our Rally Co-ordinators, Donna Black or Michelle Dagnall, at least two weeks in advance whether or not they will be attending the forthcoming rally.
So when you receive any rally reminder emails, please reply quickly.  If you know that you will not be attending a particular rally, let either of them know straight away.  Finally if you have advised that you will be attending a rally but then are unable to on the day, please text/phone on the day as early as possible. This will assist with co-ordinating the day.

Rally Uniform
This consists of beige, bone, white or fawn jodhpurs, and orange long sleeved polo shirt, brown or black boots and a riding helmet (please see new standards under PCAWA gear checking). No jewellery is permitted.  Riders can also wear official club uniform to rallies.  Club jackets are not to be worn during mounted lessons. Green fleecy jumpers may be worn in winter at rallies only.

Rally Participation
Be on time - Try to ensure that you arrive early so that you can settle your horse, sign in and drop your rally card in for registration, check the notice boards for the days programme and be ready to help with set up in your designated area (usually 8.00am).  Once set up is completed get yourself and your mount ready for your first lesson, generally at 9.00am, ensure that you walk your horse, unmounted, to the gear checking area. Please note in the hot summer months - rally start time is 8am so you will need to arrive earlier to help with set up and gear checks.

Participate - in ALL classes.  The club goes to a lot of effort to get good instructors for our rallies and would like to see full participation. If you have to leave the rally before the end of the day please inform the Chief Instructor.
Attend class unmounted - If something happens to your horse (or if you are feeling unwell) and you cannot ride in the class - you can still learn a lot from watching and listening to the instructor; unless of course you need to leave the rally - then make sure you let us know you are going and why.
Be courteous - to your instructors and other club members.

Remember - All members must have a parent present on the grounds or if over 18 years of age another adult.  Lead liners must have an adult accompanying them during lessons.
