We've got tons of updates!
Ticket Auctions
We started three eBay auctions to benefit the JDRF. All proceeds will be sent to the organization.
Two of the auctions are for single (1) seats to the New Jersey concert on March 22, 2008. The other auction is for two (2) seats to the Connecticut concert on March 18, 2008. The seats are in the same section, but are not next to each other. It was impossible to get two seats together.

Please go to our shop and support the American Diabetes Association by making a purchase! All proceeds are being donated to the ADA on behalf of Waiting on a Cure.

Hello everyone! We have some exciting news. First, we now have a domain name! Our new site is called waitingonacure.com. Currently, it redirects you to the freewebs, but we plan on changing that in the next couple of weeks. This is very exciting for us! We hope to keep growing. One way we plan to do that is by getting more exposure. How do we plan on doing that? With your help, of course!
We are running two contests-- a promotion contest and a donation contest. We are very excited about these contests, and we hope that everyone participates! There are some nice prizes, so please go read the rules and sign up!
Contests can be found here

Sorry we haven't updated in a while. We just added a few submissions to the stories page, so please check it out. We will continue accepting submissions, so feel free to e-mail us at anytime. We have recieved a few e-mails from the ADA telling us of donations that have been made for our cause. Thanks so much to those of you who have donated or plan to donate. Remember, even if it's only $5, it is still going towards an amazing cause. Find out ways to donate here. Also, please visit our myspace blog with promotional graphics to put on myspace, facebook, forums, and other web communities. Promoting awareness is a great way of helping out the cause!
Thanks for all the support!

We just updated the Get Involved page with more ways to donate to diabetes research! The American Diabetes Association offers people the option of sending donations through the mail, by phone, or online. So if you don't have a credit card but still want to get involved, mailing in donations is a wonder option. Please visit the Get Involved page as well as the ADA's official website for more information.

They always have really good updates on the Jonas Brothers and are really fun to watch. Be sure to watch their most recent update here where they mention our cause!

Happy new year, everyone!
We have a few new updates. The most obvious one being our new site design! We are trying to get all the kinks out, so bare with us. The navigation is different, and hopefully it is easy to figure out. We have added pages and joined similar pages together. We hope that this will help things run smoothly as we expand. Our new "stories" page will feature real kids' stories about living with diabetes. If you are someone with diabetes, we would love to feature you in this section. If you would like more information on how to get involved, please e-mail us. We also changed the "donate" page to the "get involved" page. The reason for this is explained later in this update.
Recently, one of our myspace friends, Frances, made a youtube video for our cause! We were shooked by how amazing it turned out. You can view it here.
Speaking of youtube, there are two girls, Kim and Alessandra who make updates on all the new Jonas Brothers news!! Check out their youtube videos here! They are planning on mentioning this site in their next update. I'll post the link once they do. Thanks so much, girls!
We have been receiving quite a few e-mails and comments from people offering to help. The most obvious way to help is by donating to the ADA throught the link on our Get Involved page. Another way to help is by spreading the word about our myspace, facebook, and website. We will be adding banners and other graphics to the site soon so that everyone can help promote the cause..
Currently, we are not looking for anyone to help run anything. There are a few people who have offered, and as long as they are still up for it, they will be the first people we contact when we need help. We really love everyone's enthusiasm and appreciate all the offers. Please do not take it personally if we do not accept your offer. We truly appreciate everything everyone has doing to help us out!

We have some more updates!! First off, we would like to ask everyone to visit the following website, FirstGiving. The page was created to raise funds for diabetes research in Nick's honor. The page has raised over $300 so far. Remember, every little bit counts. If you are unable to donate, please help by spreading the word about the many diabetes awareness sites.
Next, we would like to thank our friends over at NickJOnline for all of thier support. We truly appreciate their efforts to support our site as well as diabetes awareness in general. Not to mention they are the best source for all things Nick Jonas. Please check them out! Please continue to spread the word about the site and myspace. We need all the support we can get!!
Thanks so much, everyone!

We have uploaded a People Magazine article that featured Nick Jonas from a few months ago. Please take the time to read more about Nick's story. Also, we are currently working on creating a page where real kids tell their personal diabetes stories. If you would like to submit a story, please contact us via our e-mail or myspace.
