Pentjak Silat Petjut Kilat, whose name means "whiplash lightening" is characterized by a 'whip' like method of power generation. The Petjut Kilat practitioner uses either vertical or horizontal torque to deliver power in their strikes, takedowns, and locks. This system also does not utilize a closed fist, but instead makes use of the open hand, forearm, and elbow.
