Thank you for dropping by "Wahabism Unmasked". This website was not created for the purpose of fostering sectarianism, though that may well be the result. It is simply to shed or share the truth with those who care to learn. The truth must be made known to all the corners of the earth(should it have corners, though we know that this is simply a figure of speech derived from the erronuous Biblical description of planet earth :), but that's off topic). So anyway, this website is devoted to the sole purpose of collecting and disseminating materials on the notorious 'Wahabi" movement which the wahabis conveniently calls a myth. It is far from just a myth. This movement was initiated by Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab who's background is little known to us. The Saud joined forces with this Sheikh of neo-salafism to topple the weak Ottoman Caliphate and stole the lands for themselves which is now collectively known as Saudi Arabia(incidentally named after the tribe) . The so called Wahabis or usually called Salafis and sometimes Najdis(after the hometown of Ibn Wahab) have a knack at pronouncing kufr or takfir on those who they deem to be deviant innovaters or ahl bid'ah, meaning those they perceive to have derailed from the actual teachings of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and invented new things in the religion. This charge of theirs is actually befitting for them as well as is elucidated in the articles provided herein. The website maker wishes to send his peace to the "salafis" but caution them this," The deceit of your members and teachers are treacherous and must be obliterated by those who care for the truth". The website will continue to exist as long as the Saud family supported by the Wahabi movement continue in their excesses and deviant understandings. One again, i thank you for dropping by and hope and pray that this website will be of some benefit. We pray that the Saudi Regime will be bereft of their power soon, Ameen.
