What is Wags and Whiskers Pet Sitters ?                                                         Wags and Whiskers Pet Sitters is a pet sitting /dog walking business and much more.  Our services include pet sitting (daily and overnite), dog walking, kitty transport service, house watching,  mail/newspaper retrieval and even plant watering.  Our services provide an alternative to boarding or depending on friends and relatives to care for your pets while you are at work, away from home or just don't have the time to provide some TLC (Tender Loving Care).  We are located in Penfield, NY and service the areas of Penfield, Fairport, East Rochester, Webster, Pittsford, Brighton and limited areas of Victor, Rochester and Macedon.  

I decided to start this business after working in Corporate America for far too many years.   I wanted to do something that I could be passionate about and that would allow me to work with animals.   I currently have three cats (Bud, Harley and Kahula) and one dog (Brandy) so I know how much your furry family members can mean to you.  I treat mine like children and I will do the same with yours. 

Why use a Pet Sitter or Dog Walker?                                                                 Using a pet sitter is an alternative to boarding or depending on friends and relatives to care for your pets while you are away.  Since a pet sitter comes to your home, it helps maintain a familiar and comfortable atmosphere for your pets.  They won't become stressed or confused by unfamiliar surroundings, change in their daily routine, noise and smells of other animals.  They remain calm and relaxed in their own home and with their own toys and treats.          

How do pet sitter costs compare with boarding?                                     The cost to use a pet sitter is very comparable with boarding and if you are a multi pet household it can actually save you money.
