Lair of the Dragon - Van's Fanfics

I know, I know. I barely update. I have no real excuse other than I play too many video games. I will attempt to finish another story before New Year's; don't hold me to it but I'm definitely going to try for that. Once that story is finished my original story World Anew will be the next thing updated.

You heard me folks. Hero of Bastok is finally finished. It took far too long for me to finish it, but now it's done, and I hope you all enjoy the last two chapters as much as I did writing them. Look for some other good stuff to come along as I keep trying to update.

Sooooo, yeah, constant laziness is a bad thing. I haven't updated the site in god knows how long so it looks like the microscopic amount of visitors I got have dwindled even further. Well, maybe this will bring a few people back and maybe even get a comment on the guestbook or something. I've finally, after taking FAR too long to get it done, finished Chapter Thirty One of Hero of Bastok. You're all free to enjoy it (I certainly hope you do) and hopefully I'll finish the last two chapters within a slightly more reasonable amount of time (read: don't hold me a specific date anytime soon).

No, I'm not dead. No, I haven't forgotten about the site. Yes, I am stuck in college doing work which is why I haven't updated. Yes, I'm still working on the fanfics, Hero of Bastok's next chapter is coming along smoothly. I notice people are actually visiting, and I appreciate it to those of you that are stopping by to check things out. But please, PLEASE leave comments somewhere. Guestbook, on the stories, I don't care, just SOMEWHERE. I'm starving from lack of feedback here.

Holy crap! I'm updating! It's amazing! I finally got off my lazy ass and added Chapter 4 through 10 of the PSO sequel, mainly because my friends and I started playing it again. Long live PSO, which kicks PSU's keister! Also, I updated the 3rd, 4th and 5th chapters of Hero of Bastok. Their revised (and much more kickass) versions are up for your viewing pleasure.

So I've decided I'm going to rewrite a few chapters of Hero of Bastok, because let's face it. Those beginning chapters suck compared to what I can do now. So I'm re tweaking them into something better, and if you don't mind going back to them, you can read. The first two chapters have been revised and their revised additions posted, so go ahead and enjoy :) ...Please?

YATTA-NE!!!!! It's done it's done it's DONE! After nearly a year of turmoil, turbulence and a complete restart, the next chapter in hero of Bastok is FINALLY done! I'm so happy I got it done! ^_^ Go ahead and check it out under the fanfics section! I promise it won't take as long for Chapter 31! *flees from angry mob with pitchforks and torches*

That's me...Apparently. I have no idea how that one worked out. My roomate got Squall. KH2 anyone?

Edit: Finally found the link for the PSO story sequel. First three chapters up. Who knows though, with PSU coming out maybe we'll see the characters again.

So, while I was diligently working today (read: staring at a computer screen watching it say "Scanning files, please wait"), I uploaded all the remaining chapters of Hero of Bastok, so now the full story's there for your viewing pleasure. Greetings one and all to my site! Here you'll find a repository for all of the fanfics that I've written so far. Granted, there's not many of them, but they're also spread around different areas. So maybe you'll find one you enjoy.

Right now I've got two different ones I'm working on- and ongoing FFXI fanfic, which currently spans 30 chapters and is also posted on www.ffvault.com , and a sequel to my first Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic. Right now I'm working more on the sequel as my rabid fans from the FFXI one haven't sent me the death threat e-mails just yet. Jeez, you take an extra month or two to work on it and they chew your head off...

Anyway, I'll be uploading them as soon as I can, hopefully later today. But enjoy the pretty look for now ^_^;
