01-21-06
I know that I have said for a few years that Voltage has an album on the way, and a few people have been wondering when is it going to happen. As of tonight 01-21-06 we have acquired a G4 Macintosh computer, and it has everything that we need to start producing multiple albums. It has all the hard drive space that we need to produce as many albums as we want, and has CD burning capabilities that our old Macintosh computer just did not have. When we produced "Why Should I?" last year in 2005, it became clear that the one song took up 25% of the available hard drive space, but with the new Macintosh computer that is no longer a problem. We started a nine song project in 1997-2000 at my friends studio Entity Sounds, but with his hectic schedule it became clear that these songs would not be finished until the Voltage studio was complete. With the new Macintosh computer we plan to finish these old recordings, and we will be working on new Voltage songs for you as well.
This week we have also acquired a new digital camcorder to make videos for the new up coming songs, and we will be updating the video for "Why Should I?" soon as well. We plan to make available high quality CD's using AIFF files, and Mp3 versions of the new songs for Internet users. We also plan to make available music videos of all the new up coming songs on DVD, so that we have video albums available for you as well.
The Voltage studio music factory should be up and running at full blast in a few weeks, and hopefully by summer of 2006 we should see the first Voltage album available to the public. We will keep everybody informed of our progress periodically until then, and we will post the information to where you can get the new music as soon as possible. So please check back to find out further updates on the new Voltage music, and we will have the music available as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Michael Tiffany
