The Voices Staff

What is the Voices clan?

The Voices Clan is one of the many clans on RuneScape, the massive online adventure game by Jagex LTD. There is not one clan leader, but a clan staff, existing of three players.

The voices started when two friends of Grimnirwher9 also started playing RuneScape. They had the idea to start their very own clan, and that clan is now the Voices clan. Grimnirwher9 and those two friends, AustringerB and Samovic01, are now the three Voices staff members.
The clan was born officially when the three Voices staff members all passed for their membership test. That was at Tuesday 2007-02-27.
Two days later came the idea for a Voices clan website! As you see, this idea also came true. We now hope that other players will join the Voices clan.
Our main objective is having fun playing RuneScape. That's why there are Voices Clan events. Other objectives are: making money, getting high combat levels, looking wealthy, and helping each other to make all of that come true. We don’t do PKing (player killing), except when we have a good reason, for example a player who scammed one of us. All the players who offended us and can be attacked are on the Blacklist. Despite that, our members are allowed to train their combat skills on each other, in the wilderness, but with no other armour and weaponry but a training shield and training sword. That's because you wouldn't lose valuabe items when you die. Scamming (both password - or item scamming)is also forbidden. A Voices clan member breaking one of these rules, will be removed from the clan and added to the Blacklist.
The Voices Clan always plays at world 20. Of course, you can go to another world for a moment, for example to sell or buy something quickly. Members can of course also play on a members world too.

The Voices Staff

The ranks inside the clan

There are four ranks inside the clan.
First, there are Voices, the plain clan members. Voices are allowed to visit the Voices Headquarter section of this site.
The clan is leaded by the Voices Staff. The highest possible rank is Voices Staff member. The Voices Staff members wil have a gold crown, based on the Jagex Moderater crown from RuneScape, before their name at this site(except in titres). This crowns does not have a "M" for Moderator, but a "V" for Voice.

Voices will probably never become Staff Member, because the Staff are the people who started the clan, but if (if!) one of the Staff members leaves the clan, we'll need another third Staff member. The Voices Staff members are allowed to visit the entire Voices website.
There are also the High Voices. Those are the Voices who have a combat level of 80 or higher. They will have a bronze Voices crown before their names at this site.

The High Voices are allowed to visit the Headquarter section and the High Voices section.
Once a Voice reaches the maximum combat level (126), his rank will be upgraded to Master Voice - the name is an idea of Sir Ashore. They have a silver Voices crown before their names at this site.

The Master Voices are allowed to visit the Headquarter section and the High Voices section.

The Voices chatting channel

Monday 2007/08/06: an important day for all RuneScape clans!
JagEx activated this brilliant update, called the Clan Chatting System. Clans can now have their own chatting channels. A message sent with this system is recieved by everyone who participates the chat, and only clan members can join the chat.

Of course, the Voices do have their own chatting channel either. Here is a quick "how-to" manual.

1st: I logged in at RuneScape. How do I join this Voices chatting channel?

Quite simple.
First, click this button:

When done that, you get the Clan Chat menu. Click "Join Chat," type "Voicesclan" and hit <enter>. Simple comme bonjour, as the Frenchmen say.

Note: Each time you log in at RuneScape, you have to join the Voices Chat again too.

2nd: What the <cencored> are all these symbols before these names???

That are the ranks. You find them back here:

Cannel Owner: The RuneScape character who owns this chatting channel. The owner of our channel is Voicesclan.

General: This are the Voices Staff Members:

AustringerB,

Grimnirwher9 and

Samovic01.

Captain: This are the Master Voices.

Lieutenant: This are the High Voices. Currently,

Eesti 900 is the only High Voice.

Sergeant: The Voices themselves.

Corporal: Those whose membership is accepted, but whose test is not completed yet.

Recruit: Those who subscribed to join the Voices, but are not accepted yet.

Note: the Voices Staff Members can kick people from the chat, so don't get rude!

3rd: How do I actually chat with this system?

Even more simple then joining the channel.

To send a message to the clan: type a </> before your message.
For exapmle: if you type "/hello everybody!" and hit <enter>, everyone on the Voices chat will recieve the message: "Hello everybody!"

All messages, either yours or someone else's, will appear in the chat box, with the clan name before.
For exapmle: If Sir Ashore sends the message "I just bought full Zamorak," this is what the others clan members will recieve:
[The Voices] Sir Ashore: I just bought full Zamorak.
