Just turned 19 last April 9, 2007.

Why video blogging? Why not the ordinary blogging (writing)?

I just though of having something that could help me talk to people. I thought more people would listen and watch me if I do video blogging.

When did you start doing these videos? Why?

You see, I do basic non-linear video editing. I work on something for our class reports, documentaries, etc. Then there was a point in my life where I wanted to make use of the skill but have nothing to work on since school was over. One day, I was on youtube and realized that I can use the site for me to talk to people. And voila, video blogging!

Who helps you whenever you do a video?

Oh, you mean my production team? There are times when I need the help of my brother or sister to hold the camera, but most of the times, I do everything alone.

Why "Kaprito Stand By Me Productions"?

My class in college has this production group called "Prito Worx" where I am usually one of the video editors. In my country, the Philippines, whenever we use the prefix "Ka-," it is like saying "-mate." I was so attached to the Prito Worx that I used "Kaprito" on my one-man production, ergo "Pritomate." The "Stand By Me" on the other hand came from this silly song I sang in front of the class. I might do a video blog about that to explain further so stay tuned!

What are the stuffs you use to produce these videos?

I just use my four or five-year old camcorder, Sharp DV. And as for the editing program, I use Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5

Why co.nr as your domain?

I would have used .com only if I have the money. For my age, I still don't have my own enough resources to pay for that domain, maybe soon. The domain I am now on, co.nr--with the help of freewebs.com--is free and has good hosting reputation. As soon as I have the money for my own .com domain, I will upgrade my site to one.
