TUTORIAL - NO NAME

I couldn't think of a name - so it's a tut with no name...lol!
A very simple little tut - can be as jazzy as you'd like it to be.
Many Groups prefer smaller tags - so this tutorial result
is a small tag and the canvas size starts at 500 x 500 and gets smaller
Anyway - enough waffle...let's get going...
SUPPLIES NEEDED
Tube of Choice - I'm using the gorgeous artwork of Marjolein Gulinski
If you'd like to use the same - you'll have to purchase a licence
go to www.mypsptubes.com for more information
Elements of choice - I used the smaller
elements which came with my tubes - you may
like to use scraps, embellishments etc
That's it
_______
Open a New Image 500 x 500 White Background
Preset Shape Rectangle - with a Line Width of 5
Choose a complimentary colour from your tube for your
Foreground
Background Null
Draw a long rectangle across the canvas
When happy with size - Convert to Raster
Magic Wand 0 Tolerance
Click inside the Rectangle,
Selections Modify Expand by 2
New Layer (below the rectangle)
choose a lighter shade from your tube
Floodfill
Deselect
You'll how have the base of your tag...

Now, repeat the above process, but this time - draw
a larger rectangle (see my tag for comparison) and place on the right of
our base.
Same as before - floodfill lighter colour
on a seperate layer below the rectangle outline.
Don't merge anything - we need layers, layers, layers lol!
OK, now open your Tube,
Paste as a New Layer
Resize 60% and place under the frame on the right
Add a subtle dropshadow to the tube
Now click inside the right frame
Selections, Modify
Expand by 2
Selections, Invert
Delete the excess tube
Now Paste the tube as a New Layer again
and Resize by 60%
But this time, place this above the right frame
(choose a tube that hasn't many rigid cutoffs - see
my tag for reference)
It may seem odd that we're adding the tube twice, but it
gives more depth to the tag.
So add a nice subtle dropshadow to this tube
Click inside the long rectangle frame
Select Modify Expand by 2
Paste your Tube as a New Layer at full size
Line up the tube between the frame as you'd like
Selections Invert Delete
Lower the Opacity of this tube layer to about 35
Now add your elements
I used the elements that came with my tube as extras
but you could use bows, beads, whatever you'd like
Now add your copyright info and your name
Add a subtle dropshadow to either or both of the frame layers
if liked.
Crop the excess white canvas - nice small tag!
Save as .PNG
All done!
Hope you liked it.
It all depends what you do with the basic idea
You may like to add sparkles and stuff to the finished tag but it's nice to have
a non moving tag which looks very grooooooooooovy!

It is a tutorial of my own design and any similarity to other
tag tutorials is wholly coincidental and completely unintended.
