Kenneth Abela joins Vittoriosa Stars
First Division side Vittoriosa Stars continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Kenneth Abela from Hibernians.
A Hibs product, Abela spent most of his career in Division 1 with various teams where he established himself as a most prolific striker. In attack, he will join Anthony Eviparker who had signed another one-year contract.
Abela, who played for Senglea last season, had earlier played for St. George's, Marsaxlokk, Marsa, Qormi and Ghajnsielem.
Meanwhile defender David Gauci signed for another year with Vittoriosa Stars. The club is also close to agreeing with two new goalkeepers for the coming season.
A players' meeting will be held on Monday with pre-season training starting on Wednesday.
