Welcome To The Sky Castle Stable Superstore

History:

The Sky Castle Stables originated in the Raceclubs Virtual World Of Horse Racing in November 2006. The desire to compete on a global scale in the Virtual World Of Horse racing was originally spawned two years prior after having discovered the Starters Orders PC game and competing in The Starters Orders Pro League as part of the ORLWorld against a small and dedicated group of Virtual Horse Racing enthusiasts. As part of the administration team I helped run the voluntary and free League performing some of the mundane tasks as well Reviews, Previews and recording Race Commentaries, I also managed to build up my stable after a few seasons and gradually climbed to be one of the leading trainers in the League. I subsequently set my sights on the next challenge of taking the step up to competing for real prizemoney in the World Of Virtual Horse Racing when I discovered Raceclubs.

The name of the Sky Castle Stables was based on a grey gelding named Sky Castle, which was a run of the mill racehorse, but a favourite of mine growing up as a young kid.

Stable Status:

The stable at raceclubs was originally funded with an injection of funds from a handy Caulfield and Melbourne Cup payout in late 2006. That together with the benefit of the background of competing in the Starters Orders League, racing and planning campaigns for pixel horses, helped fast track the stable somewhat to be competitive on a reasonable scale at Raceclubs. The stable has continued to grow racing at all class levels from G2, Low class G1 horses through to Challenge. The stable has reinvested and continued to grow and is now officially out of control, but I have vowed to continue to race on, but will from time to time offer horses for sale to generate some cash to fund other aspects of racing.
