Description: Help the confused Brother Kojo find the missing cogs and fix his watch tower. Search the dungeon using brawn and brains to correctly place the four cogs.
Difficulty: Novice
Length: Medium
Requirements: None
Items Needed: Bucket of water or ice gloves, and a good weapon and armour since you need to get past some Ogres (lvl 53).
Quest Points Reward: 1
Reward: 500 coins.
Start Point: Southwest of Ardougne Zoo
To Start: Speak to Brother Kojo
Instructions:
Talk to Brother Kojo, he should be in the Clock Tower just southwest of Ardounge Zoo.
You need to get all four cogs, remember you can only carry one at a time.
Go down ladder and you should be in a dungeon. In the next room you will see colored blocks on the floor representing the general direction of the cog.

Black Cog
Use the colored block to see where to go. Go down the passageway to a door. Behind the door you will see lvl 2 giant spiders and the black Cog surrounded by fires.

Use the bucket of water or wear your ice gloves and pick it up. Now go back to the ladder and up to the first floor.
At the first floor use your black Cog on the black pole.
Red Cog
Go to the colored bricks in the next room and go through the door. The red brick represents south east.
Go through the door and you get to a room with three Ogres (level 53) and the red Cog. You don't have to kill them, just run past them and pick up the Cog.

Go back to the ladder, go up to the 2nd floor and use the red Cog on the red pole.
White Cog
Go down the ladder to the dungeon and go to the room with the colored bricks. Now go through the northwest door (indicated by the white brick).
Continue going north west to get the Rat poison; after you have picked up the Rat poison go east to the rat cage.
At the rat cage you will see two levers to open the two doors, pull the levers to get into the cage.

Inside the cage you will see the food trough. Use the Rat poison on it and the rats will eat from it and die. Then the door to the room with the white Cog will open.

Pick up the white Cog and go up the ladder; you will be outside the Clock Tower. Go inside and use the white Cog on the white pole near the ladder, on the 3rd floor.
Blue Cog
Go down to the dungeon and to the room with the colored bricks. Go through the southwest door (indicated by the blue brick).
You will get to a room with some monsters locked in cages, but sadly the blue Cog is locked in also with no doors. You will need to find an entrance to the blue Cog.

Go up the ladder in the room and you will again be outside the Clock Tower. Now go northeast to where Brother Cedric is (near the Zoo). Just west of him is a ladder.

Go down the ladder and just follow the passage to a wall. Go through the door and pick up the blue Cog. Go up the ladder and go inside the Clock Tower, up the staircase to 2nd floor and use the blue Cog on the blue pole.
Now that all of the Cogs have been placed, talk to Brother Kojo to receive your reward.

Items Needed: Lots of Shantay passes, 650gp, 12 Magic logs, 6 Steel bars, 6 Molten glass, Ashes, Charcoal, 1 Blood rune, Regular bones, cake, Prayer pots, Super restore pots, Spiked boots, Climbing Boots, Garlic, Lockpick (Can be bought at the Rogue's Den) , 1 Silver bar, Spice, Pestle and mortar, Facemask, Tinderbox, Ice Gloves, Waterskins, knife, and Energy potions. Food and Prayer Potions are needed ALOT throughout the quest.
Quest Points Reward: 3
Reward: 20k Magic Experience and The Ancient Magicks
Instructions:
Obtaining the Ice Diamond
Items Needed: Chocolate cake, Prayer pots, Super restore pots, Spiked boots and Climbing Boots (In case you do you can not teleport through trollheim[require edgar ruse's quest]. You must go through Burthorpe to Trollheim, and you need climbing boots to do so).
Tips - Bring super restores. You'll need at least 3 super restores 4 dose each. Bring some prayer pots for the first 5 trolls are highly recommended. Do NOT attack the 120 trolls, instead attack the 124s. They are MUCH easier to kill (trust me). On the boss, use full mystic and fire wave/blast. This will make him somewhat easier to kill. Make sure you have some food left before you continue up the ice path, you will fall frequently.
Obtaining the Blood Diamond
Items Needed: Garlic, Silver bar, Spice, Pestle and mortar, food, and prayer pots. (Dragon Haberd, Ranged equipment, or Mage equipment recommended)
Tips - Dessous DOES teleport next to you!!!! However, keep him behind the bars and use a ranged attack (in the form of either melee, range, or magic). If you keep protection from melee on, he won't teleport beside you that often to melee you.
Obtaining the Smoke Diamond
Items Needed: Facemask, Food and Prayer pots, Tinderbox, Ice Gloves, and a few Energy potions
Tips - There's no rush in lighting the torches. I did it with no energy pots and about 80% energy at the start (54 agility though). Even with that, the first torch went out about 2 minutes after I got the key. This boss is a joke. Protect from melee and kill him in 3 minutes max.
Obtaining the Shadow Diamond
Items Needed: Lots of good food for thieving and for the boss.
Note: Don't bother praying on the boss of this one it's a waste of pots and food is more efficient.
Tips - If the rest of the bosses were chickens, this one would be a hobgoblin. Without a doubt, Damis is THE hardest of all four bosses. THERE ARE NO SAFE SPOTS IN THERE!!! No point in praying in there, you won't be able to drink pots AND hit him fast enough; just bring sharks. You can also MAGE Damis using bind/ensnare/entangle spells, making him unable to attack you, thus making your prayer last longer. You should take advantage of this little prayer to protect you from the skeletons around. If you have Claws of Guthix, ABUSE IT HERE!!! The little defense that he gets lowered by helps tremendously.
Tips to help kill Damis:
When doing Desert Treasure, I learned of this trick to help kill Damis.
Items:
Full Rune
Dragon dagger (p,+, or s)(s prefered)
Ardy telle runes
Prayer Pot
Ring of Visibility/ ring of life(optional)
What you do, is after killing the first form of damis, First Form (lvl102) Easy as pie don't waste special's or pots on him. Run him to the back of the the dungeon.
Second Form (lv174) I've seen him hit 28 so be wary, he drains your prayer so don't bother with that just pot up and unload specials into him, and hope that you win. Hide behind the torch, so damis cannot attack you. Every so often, jump out from behind the torch and attack him. He may take some damage, and will eventually be poisoned. Every time you jump out, jump bank into the safe spot after you hit.
If you find that the skeletons are getting in the way of you killing Damis or they are hitting extra that you really dont need taken away then you can lead Damis back the way you came and out of the multi-combat area. That way you can fight him on his own without all the skeletons interupting.
If you go back the way you came to where the passage is about big enough for 1 person (its not multi-combat) you can get a friend to stand between you and Damis and Damis wont hit you or your friend. Be careful though because if your friend starts attacking the skeleton that respawns there Damis will walk straight though them. If they are acting as a block they MUST NOT FIGHT. Always bank the diamonds after you get them, otherwise you might meet up with a stranger who wants to kill you. You can just run if you need.
When you get all four diamonds, take all of them, one (4) anti poison pot, dragon dagger (p), full dragon hide(the best you can wear because you will need the low weight), 3 prayer potions, and fill the rest with sharks. Use the diamonds with the obilisks outside to open up the door. Do it fast or you might get attacked by a stranger.
The actual pyramid was easy. You can easily navigate through the first 2 levels. Starting on the third, put on protect from melee and RUN. If you go in the wrong corridor, you have to start over again. At the end, open the door and talk to the spirit. Yay! You're done!
The Stranger
Though you have the diamond it doesn't end there. Once you have a diamond a level 95 Stranger will attack you with a dragon dagger (P), he specials often and attacks very quickly however is a push over compared to "Fareed" dispose of him anyway you see fit.
The Pyramid
Items Needed: Food and Prayer pots (optional)

Description: The Fitzharmon family crest has gone missing, and the family honour has been lost. Can you find the crest and return it to Dimintheis in Varrock? There are 3 different rewards available, but you can only choose one, so choose carefully!
Difficulty: Experienced
Length: Long
Requirements: Level 40 mining, level 40 smithing, level 40 crafting, level 59 magic (or if you are 56 you can use a Wizard's Mind Bomb, bought in Falador bar)
Items Needed: 1 of each cooked Swordfish, Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp, Bass, two cut rubies, all the runes needed to cast all of the "Blast" spells, 2 cure poison potions, a pickaxe, some good armor, a good weapon, and some food.
Quest Points Reward: 1
Reward: A pair of steel gauntlets. (click here to find out how they can be enhanced)
Start Point: Southeast of the East Varrock bank.
To Start: Speak to Dimintheis in a little house southeast of the East bank in Varrock.
Instructions:
1. Go to the little house southeast of the East bank in Varrock. You should find a man named Dimintheis.

Talk to him about the family crest. You will need to talk to his sons who have the pieces of the crest. Do them in this order:
First son

1. Talk to Caleb, he is located in a house just northeast of the Catherby bank. Talk to him and he'll give you his piece of the crest if you give him the following cooked fish: Note: If you don't have a high enough cooking or fishing level you can just buy the fish.
Shrimp
Salmon
Tuna
Bass
Swordfish
2. Give him these fish and he will give you his piece of the crest. He should tell you about the second brother in Al Kharid. If he doesn't, talk to him again and he will tell you to go to the Gem Trader in Al Kharid.
Second Son
1. Talk to the Gem Trader in Al Kharid and he will tell you about a man with a poncey yellow cape, hanging around the gold rock in the Scorpion Pit Chasm mine north of Al Kharid.
2. Talk to this Nobleman and he will tell you that if you want his part of the crest you will need to give him a ruby ring and a ruby necklace made from the finest gold. He will tell you that a dwarf named Boot knows where to find the finest gold.
3. Go talk to Boot who is in the Dwarven Mine. See the world map if you can't find Dwarven Mine. Hint: it's north of Falador, down the ladder in a house on the ice mountain.) Boot can be found by going south west, Boot will tell you where the finest gold is found. Bring along a pickaxe, good armor and a good weapon, and probably some food (you will need to beat two level 122 Hellhounds).
4. The finest gold is found in a dungeon east of Ardougne. To make this easy, just go to East Ardougne, and go south east. You will find a ladder surrounded by archways. Go down the ladder. First you will meet some hobgoblins (level 48.). You can't get directly to the finest gold; you have to pull a lot of levers to activate the door. Go to where the door of the Hellhound is. Do the following steps to unlock the door where the gold is:
Hint: If you don't know what a lever's status is (up or down) you can right click on it and click inspect. (Also you may have to pull the levers the opposite way then the guide says)
I) Go to the North wall and pull that lever up
II) Back to the South room and pull that lever up
III) Back to the North wall and pull the lever down
IV) Go inside the North room and pull that lever up
V) Go outside of the room and pull the lever on the North wall up
VI) Go back to the South room and pull that lever down
VII) Open the cage and mine 2 "perfect" ores. (Note: you may or may not have to kill them. Often times there is already someone killing them for range practice.)
5. Use these gold nuggets on a furnace, and now you will have two gold bars. Get your two rubies, a ring mould, a necklace mould, and your two gold bars made from the finest gold. Use a bar on the furnace and make a ruby ring and a ruby necklace.
6. Return to Al Kharid with your ruby ring and ruby necklace made from the finest gold and give them to the Nobleman. He will give you his piece, and will tell you about his younger brother.
Third Son
1. For this part you will need a cure poison potion (it's a good idea to bring two, one for the son and one for you), probably some good armor, a good weapon, all of the runes needed to cast all four blast spells, and either a level 59 magic, or a Wizard's Mind Bomb (can be bought in Falador Bar for 2 coins). By the way, a Wizard's Mind Bomb temporarily increases you 3 magic levels, so you can do this part if you have a level 56 magic or higher.
2. Once you have all of those items go to the Jolly Boar Inn. This is located northeast of Varrock. Look on the world map if you can't find it (it is the big bar). Go inside and go to the southern end. On the second floor you will find, in a room, a wizard.
3. He is the third son. Talk to him, but he has been poisoned. Give him your cure poison potion and he will be cured. He will tell you all about the poison spiders, and about Chronozon (170) having his piece of the crest. He will tell you that in order to kill Chronozon you will need to cast all of the blast spells on him.
4. Now get all of the items mentioned in step 1 and go to Edgeville. Enter the dungeon and fairly deep into the dungeon you will find a gate which can be only accessed on members' servers. (Examine the gates and eventually you will find one that says, "You can pass through this on members servers." This gate is protected by a couple of aggressive skeletons. The members only area is known as the 'Wilderness Dungeon' . Chronozon is located in level 2-3 of the dungeon wilderness, and this area is a non-multicombat area.
5. Go through the gate and you will first meet some thugs (level 10). Head west and get past the Chaos Druids (level 13). Go north and get past the skeletons (level 45) by heading west into the narrow hallway.
6. You will need to pass Black Demons (level 172) and some poison spiders (level 64). Once you think you can do it, go west then south.
7. Now you should be in a room with the Earth Obelisk and Chronozon (level 170). If he hasn't already attacked you, attack him. While you are killing him, you must successfully cast all of the Blast spells, just once. If you don't he will regenerate. You can use prayers. Once you have killed him pick up the crest piece and get out! (Possible way of attack - Hide behind the pillar in the back of the cage, kill and poison spiders that have attacked you, cure you poison, and begin casting your spells on Chronozon...He will not attack you this way.)
Finishing the Quest: Now that you have all three pieces, put them together and go back and talk to Dimintheis. He will be grateful and will reward you. You can get these enchanted. Look below and remember that you can re-enchant them, but it'll cost you 25k gp for each re-enchant by one of the brothers.
Enhancing the Gauntlets: Go to any son and talk to him. He will enhance the gauntlets for you if you want.
Gauntlets Info
Gauntlet may be enchanted once for free at one of the following sons. After that, each son will charge 25k gp to re-enchant the gauntlets.
