    Wrong

  3. Bob has been reported to be found all over Runescape although many have found him around Burthope or the Heros Guild. Speak to him and you will find out that he is lovesick. Next you will need to go to Gertrude and ask her about Bob's parents.

  7. Teleport to Al Kharid, then enter the desert and take a carpet ride to Pollniveach. Next, walk to Sophanem and talk to the sphinx. You will get an option to view a cutscene. It is 5 minutes and 20 seconds but well worth it. In the cutscene Bob gets together with Neite, the cat he loves, and tells you to do some chores for Unferth.

  8. The chores are:
Tidy House - Go to unferths house and clean the bed in the corner
Warm Human - Use your logs on the fireplace and then use the tinderbox on the fireplace to light the fire.
Feed Human - Use your Chocolate cake and Bucket of milk on the table. If you need the recipe for chocolate cake search the cupboard.
Tidy Human - Get some shears and use them on Unferth. He will now be bald.
Tend Garden - Weed the garden then plant 4 potato seeds. The patch needs no compost or water. Needs to completely grow to be complete.

  9. When done your cat will tell you the chores are finished and to go and speak to Unferth.

  10. You will find that Unferth is ill and you will have to help him. Your cat tells you to go to the Varrock apothecary.

  11. The apothecary tells you that Unferth is not really ill and you will need to dress up as a doctor or nurse. He will give you either a nurse or doctor's hat. Put on your new hat and the desert robes and go to Unferth (make sure you take off any weapons and shields).

    Apothecary

  12. You will convince Unferth that the water filled vial you give him is a super potion and that you have cured him and he is no longer ill.

  13. Find Bob with your amulet (he should be nearby) and speak to him. You will see a cutscene of his and Neite's adventures. (Including one to the KBD and a Titanic spoof.)

    KBD

  14. Go tell Unferth that Bob is ok and he will give you a present left to you by Bob.

    Congratulations! Quest complete!

BETWEEN A ROCK

Description: Hidden away from the fearsome trolls and the roaming Fremennik, the dwarves delve deep beneath the mountains in search for the ore they need to support their home of Keldagrim. One dwarf in particular, however, has for years been trying to crack open a rock that seems to be impervious to any material that he's tried on it. Convinced that solving the riddle of the rock will lead him to unimaginable wealth, he has spent the latter part of his life on just this lump of stone. Help him out, but take care you don't end up in a tight spot!

Difficulty: Experienced

Length: Medium

Requirements: Must have completed the Fishing Contest Quest and the Dwarf Cannon Quest. (If possible, do the Giant Dwarf Quest first; being able to use the Mine carts for transport makes this quest go much faster.)
Level 30 Defense
Level 40 Mining (higher mining being an advantage)
Level 50 Smithing
Being able to defeat a level 75 to 125 (Depends on your level) enemy.

Items Needed: Pickaxe, coins (about 5k would be enough), 4 gold bars, 1 cannonball mould, and a hammer.

Quest Points Reward: 2

Reward: A golden helmet, the ability to mine gold inside, 5k defense xp, 5k Mining xp, 5K Smithing xp, and a rune pickaxe.

Start Point: The Keldagrim mines east of Rellekka and north of the Mountain Camp

To Start: Speak to Dondakan, standing by his cannon in the northwest area of the mines

Instructions:

  1. Go to The Keldagrim mines which are east of Rellekka and north of the Mountain Camp and enter the Dungeon/cave. Straight in is a smaller cave which will lead you into the area where you will find Dondakan. You will need to take the boat over to the other side of the area. Talk to the Dwarven ferryman at the entrance and pay him 2 gp and he will take you across.

    Quest Starting Point
Cave Entrance Cave Entrance Map Cavern Entrance Cavern Entrance Map

  2. Now, go back across the river (2gp, again) and talk to the dwarf boatman. Ask him to take you to the dwarven city. Once there you will need to go talk to the librarian. Just west of the dock where you come in on (across the bridge and to the left).

She will tell you that you will need to talk to the dwarf engineer. He is located just to the south at the anvil icon on the minimap. He will explain about Rolad, and where he is.

    Dwarven Engineer

  3. Rolad is in one of the two buildings where you can buy a Dwarven cannon (just beside the entrance to the Dwarven mine).

Talk to Rolad and he will tell you to find some book pages. They are located in the mine below.

    Book Pages:
#1: Kill a Scorpion. You will find it after you killed it. You may have to kill several.
#2: Inside a Mining Cart; search all of them until you find it.
#3: Mine some ores to find the last book page.
    - DONT DROP THE BOOK!! -

    Rolad Rolad Map Location

  4. Now go back to Rolad and hand him the pages. He will put them together and give you a book. He will ask you to bring it back, you can say yes or you can say yes (lie) I said yes. Read the book.

    Book

  5. Head back to Dondakan and inform him about what you read. Now he will ask you to find a hard material which can break through "his" rock.

  6. Go and make a golden cannonball. You will need your gold bar and a cannonball ammo mould (you can buy a mould from a Dwarf next to Rolad).

    Golden Cannon Ball

  7. Go back to Dondakan and give him the ball. After you use the ball on him he will fire it. The ball will go straight through the rock. Now Dondakan will want to shoot you through the rock too!

  8. Agree with him and he will tell you he has to modify the cannon. He will also tell you to find all the different schematics for the multicannon modifications and that you must make a golden helmet.

    Schematics:
#1: Dondakan gives you what he has that was sent to him.
#2: Go back to the Dwarven Engineer (at Wedmund's Wrench Shop in Keldagrim) and ask him about schematics.
#3: Go back to Rolad. He again has lost them so you will have to find them it for him, it is actually the last page of the book, read the book again after talking to him and it will ask you if you want to tear out the page, say yes.
#4: Khorvak, the dwarven engineer, is located in the pass under White Wolf mountain (north of Catherby - South of Hero's Guild). He is in the room with the Dwarven stouts, and will ask you to get him one before giving you the schematics. If you select the "Don't Buy" option in the conversation, you get to see your character go into an annoyed tirade about all these characters requesting drinks. It's quite funny.

  9. Once you have all the schematics, put them together. A window will pop up for you to put the puzzle together. Make it look like the picture below.

    Cannon Schematics

  10. Now go make your golden helmet. Get 3 gold bars and a hammer. Use one of the bars on the anvil, then you can choose between making a bowl or a helmet. Make a helmet.

    Golden Helm

  11. Now prepare to become a human cannonball and fight a level 75 to 125 (Depends on your level) enemy. Wear your new gold helmet. Bring some food and a pickaxe. I also used prayer pots and the protect from magic prayer and did not get hit at all. Once ready, talk to Dondakan. You will actually be shot into the rock.

    Inside Cannon

  12. When you get through, move to the center of the rock. Mine as much gold as you can. I had at least 6 ores. The more you take the easier the spirit is to kill. Jump through the first flame to get to the center. There you will find some more flames. Talk to the flames and a spirit will attack you.
You can not defeat him without having some gold in your inventory. Therefore, if you do not have enough gold, take off your helmet. If you take off your helmet you will be teleported back to Dondakan. Tell him what happened, put your helmet back on and try again, this time getting more gold.

  13. Once the spirit is defeated you will be teleported out of the rock. Talk to Dondakan again to complete the quest.

    Congratulations! Quest Complete!

BIG CHOMPY BIRD HUNTING

Description: Rantz the Ogre needs to feed his demanding children, Fycie and Bugs so he wants to go Big Chompy Bird hunting. Problem is, he's all fingers and thumbs when it comes to making ogre arrows. Could someone please give him a hand.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Length: Short

Requirements: 5 Fletching
30 cooking
30 Ranging

Items Needed: Chisel, a hatchet, a knife, about 100-150 Feathers, 4 to 5 wolf bones (you can get these anywhere and don't have to get them during the quest if you know a place to kill wolves before you start), and weapons/armor to kill a level 64 Wolf (if you need wolf bones)

Quest Points Reward: 2

Reward: About 735 ranged xp, 262 xp fletching, 1470 xp cooking, ogre bow, and the ability to make Ogre arrows.

Start Point: Feldip Hills area, southeast of Ogre city Gu'Tanoth, south of Yanille

To Start: Talk to Rantz

Instructions:

  1. Talk to Rantz who is far south-southeast of Yanille.

    Map

  2. He will tell you to make some ogre arrows ''stabbers'' which are arrows made by using logs from the Achey Tree for shafts and Wolf bones for tips. You need normal feathers.

  3. First you will need your axe to cut down the Achey Trees. You will need about 10 logs to do the quest. Then take your knife and cut the logs like normal arrows. The logs to arrow shafts process is random to my knowledge; one log can make from 2 to 6 arrow shafts.

    image

  4. Then, add your feathers to the arrow shafts you made from the Achey logs. A minimum of 4 feathers are used per arrow, so you may need up to 150 feathers to complete the whole process. These are flighted arrow shafts.

  5. Now for the tips, you can kill a level 64 Wolf, located just west of where you find Rantz. Kill the wolf and pick up Wolf bones. You will need 3 - 6 wolves to be able to make enough arrows. You need at least 12 - 15 tips. (Note: For lower combat players, the level 25 wolves at White Wolf Mountain drop wolf bones as well.)

    image

  6. Use your Chisel with the Wolf bones to make some Wolfbone arrow tips out of the bones. You can make from 2-6 arrow tips from each set of bones (generally six).

  7. Add your arrow tips to the flighted arrow shafts that you already made.

  8. You will need to make 6 or more. When you have made the arrows, go talk to Rantz. If you are smart, you make 12 or more arrows because you will need some later when you have to kill the Chompy for Rantz. You can make as many as you want because you can use the arrows later to increase your Chompy Bird hunter level. Right click on the bow to check your level.

  9. When talking to Rantz select the option about Fatsy Toadsies, otherwise when you do the next step you will be told to go talk to Rantz and won't be able to open the chest.

  10. Now you will need to bait the Chompy Bird, go to the cave that is a bit north of Rantz, go in and talk to the 2 ogres in there, Fycie and Bugs they are his children.

    image image

  11. When you finish talking to them, go search the Chest in the north west of the cave. You lose ONE strength point if you fail this.

  12. You will get an Ogre bellows, now go to the swamp just west of Rantz (lower level players should beware the Wolves). There are some bubbles coming out of the swamp, use the bellows with the bubbles to fill the bellows with gas.

  13. Now use the bellows with the Swamp toads around the area. The toad will fill with gas and grow big and then the toad will automatically get placed in your inventory. You will need 3 toads full of gas. (You can't get more than 3 at a time, but expert Chompy hunters say to inflate 3, then drop them and quickly inflate 3 more. However, they can't be picked back up.)

  14. When you have the fatsy toadsies, go to Rantz and he will tell you to drop the toads with gas south of him. An arrow will appear that points to the Chompy Hunting Grounds south of Rantz, drop the toads in the area where he showed you.

  15. When you have dropped the toads go back to Rantz and he will shoot at the bird but he won't hit it and will blame it on your arrows. Tell him you want to try it, if you ask him enough times you will get an Ogre bow.

  16. Now if you didn't make extra arrows above, you will need more arrows so do the steps above again to make at least 5 arrows.

(here is a picture of the Bow and Arrows u will need)
    image

  17. If you made the extra arrows ahead of time, you can skip this part and just start shooting the Chompy bird that Rantz was shooting, instead of going through all of the process of collecting toads over again. If not, after you make the arrows, get 3 more Toads per the above instructions and drop them the same place as Rantz told you before. Walk away a few feet to allow the birds to get at the toads. The Chompy will fly down near the toads you placed there; shoot it.

    image

  18. When it dies, go pluck it. When you have plucked the Chompy, there will be a raw Chompy Bird on the ground with some bones and some feathers. Grab the feathers if you wish to make more arrows, and take the raw Chompy Bird to Rantz.

  19. Rantz will tell you that you have to cook the bird for him. He will also tell you how he wants it cooked (what he wants on the cooked Chompy bird), and tells you to go ask his sons for their food orders, too. Make a note of the food items you need. The sons are still in the cave north of Rantz. The items needed varies each time between these food items: Cabbage, Tomato, Potato (can be bought at the Yanille food store 1gp each), Onion, Equa leaves, or Doogle leaves.

    image

  20. The food items can be found around the Ogre city area and around the area where Rantz is:
The Onions and Tomatoes are just west of the swamp with the toads.
The Cabbage is in various locations including just north of the swamps with the toads, and around the Equa leaves.
The Doogle leaves are west of the Onions.
The potatoes and equa leaves are found at the shore south then east of Rantz. The Potato is very hard to find and spawns only rarely in this area.

  21. When you get the required ingredients, go north of Rantz and south of the cave, there is a special Fire there with a roasting spit. Use the Raw Chompy bird on the fire and it will cook the bird with the ingredients.

  22. When you have cooked the bird, go to Rantz and talk to him.

Congratulations you have completed the quest.

BIOHAZARD

Description: Second part of an ongoing adventure. Help Elena discover the truth about the infamous Ardougne plague. Smuggle test samples across Ardougne to Elena's old mentor.

Difficulty: Novice

Length: Long

Requirements: Must have done Plague City quest

Items Needed: Rope, Priest robe set (can be bought for 12 coins in Varrock's Fancy Clothes Shop, which is next door to where you need them anyway)

Quest Points Reward: 3

Reward: 1250 thieving experience, and the ability to use King Lathas' training field.

Start Point: Talk with Elena in Ardougne. She now lives just across the street (east) of her parents' house.

To Start: Speak to Elena

Instructions:

  1. questmap

Talk to Elena, she will say that her Distillator has been stolen by the Mourner and the tunnel is blocked. Accept her quest and she will tell you to find a man called Jerico.

  2. Jerico is located in the house south of the north bank in East Ardougne. After you have found him, talk to him and he will ask you to find Omart. Before you leave, pick up one Pigeon Cage and search his cupboards to find some Bird feed.

  3. Omart is located west of the Carnillean Mansion. After you have found him, talk to him and he will say every thing is ready but you can't risk it with the watcher tower so close. He will say that you should go back and talk to Jerico again. You can but if you don't want to waste time, DON'T.

  4. Remember that you have the Pigeon cage and some Bird feed? Go to the watchtower which is located north of Omart (next to the closed city gates) and use the Bird feed on the watchtower. Then open the Pigeon cage. The mourners will focus on the pigeons now, not you. Talk to Omart and go to West Ardougne by using a Rope.

  5. Go to the northeast building in West Ardougne. Take a Rotten apple which is just a little northwest of the house. Climb over the fence and use the Rotten apple on the Cauldron. Try to open the door and a Mourner will say that some Mourners are ill and they need a doctor.

  6. Now it's your time to be a doctor. Head southeast and find Nurse Sarah's house - directly southwest of the Monastery. Go in and search the cupboard; you will find a Doctor's gown. Put it on and go back to the Mourner house.

  7. Open the door in front of the Mourner house. The Mourners will let you in. Climb up the staircase. Open the door and tell the Mourner whatever you like. He will attack you. Kill him and do the same to the other Mourner. After you killed two Mourners, you should get a key (it will appear in your pack). Use it on the gate and the gate should open. Search all the crates until you find the Distillator. Get out of the house.

  8. Go to the southeast corner of the plague city area. Talk to Kilron and tell him that you want to go back.

  9. Go to Elena's house and talk to her. She will give you some filled vials. She will also ask you to get some touch paper from the Chemist and use the Chemist's delivery men to smuggle the vials to Varrock. Accept the items she gives you. DON'T TELEPORT OR THE VIALS AND SAMPLES WILL BREAK, although you can put the vials in your bank and then teleport.

  10. The Chemist is located just west of Rimmington. After you reach there, talk to the Chemist; just say you are Elena's friend. DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT PLAGUE. Say that you need the Touch paper for Guidor (need the vials and sample with you). He will give you the paper.

  11. Now it's time to give the vials to the 3 delivery men. Give Hops the Sulphuric broline, Chancy the Liquid honey and DeVinci the Ethanea. They will say that they will meet you in the Dancing Donkey Inn in Varrock. Make sure you have the Plague sample with you, because if you get the vials from the delivery men, and then need to get the sample out of the bank, the guard will just take away the vials and you will have to go back to Elena to receive the vials all over again.

  12. The Dancing Donkey Inn is located in the southeast corner of Varrock. Before you reach there, a guard should search you. That's why you needed the delivery men to smuggle the other vials. Talk to them in the Dancing Donkey Inn to get back the vials.

  13. Guidor's house is just southeast of this inn. Talk to Guidor's wife, she will say that she needs a priest. Put on the Priest robes (these can be purchased cheaply at the clothing shop next door) and talk to Guidor's wife again. She will allow you to go in.

  14. Now it is time to realize the truth. Talk to Guidor and tell him you are here because of Elena and give all the vials to him. He will tell you that there is no plague.

  15. Go back to Elena's house and tell her there is no plague, she will tell you to see the King of Ardougne.

  16. The King is upstairs in the palace in Ardougne, which is located west across the bridge from the General Store. Talk to King Lathas and he will tell you about his brother, King Tyras, and reward you.

Ask him where his head is and he will go with you, telling you which direction to turn to get there. To start, go to the woods south east. At the entrance, ask him what direction to go now. Try to do that EXACTLY, to make it faster (example: if he says south-east, try to go diagonally south east). Keep asking him frequently, you'll be led round the grave. If you have dug up the head, use Canifis teleport or the Ectopical (only if you are very deep), but if you are unfortunate and don't have either of them, equip your Holy Symbol of Saradomin (if you brought one) and walk back to the castle.

Obtaining the Ice Diamond

Items Needed: Chocolate cake, Prayer pots, Super restore pots, Spiked boots and Climbing Boots (In case you do you can not teleport through trollheim[require edgar ruse's quest]. You must go through Burthorpe to Trollheim, and you need climbing boots to do so).

Tips - Bring super restores. You'll need at least 3 super restores 4 dose each. Bring some prayer pots for the first 5 trolls are highly recommended. Do NOT attack the 120 trolls, instead attack the 124s. They are MUCH easier to kill (trust me). On the boss, use full mystic and fire wave/blast. This will make him somewhat easier to kill. Make sure you have some food left before you continue up the ice path, you will fall frequently.

  1. Head north of Trollheim and go to the icy gate talk to the child troll he'll be crying and it'll say he needs something sweet. give him a Cake and he'll tell you that a bad man froze his parents because they "stole" his diamond.

  2. Warning: Icy area lowers ALL stats (this includes cooking etc) take a SUPER restore; It also lowers your Special Bar and Energy to 0%. Go through the icy gate and go to the other side. There is a cave entrance that is blocked off. Kill 5 ice trolls and it will open for you. (If you need to teleport out you won't have to rekill all the trolls you have already defeated.)

  3. Follow the path round past the wolves to the Ice Guardian (level 154) he attacks using freeze magic and melee when he freezes you you can't attack use this time to eat and take potions(He is very weak against Fire Spells), when you kill him he drops 2 chocolate cakes and a super restore.

  4. Follow the path round using food when required round until you find 2 trolls locked in ice, smash them open and they'll give you the diamond.

Obtaining the Blood Diamond

Items Needed: Garlic, Silver bar, Spice, Pestle and mortar, food, and prayer pots. (Dragon Haberd, Ranged equipment, or Mage equipment recommended)

Tips - Dessous DOES teleport next to you!!!! However, keep him behind the bars and use a ranged attack (in the form of either melee, range, or magic). If you keep protection from melee on, he won't teleport beside you that often to melee you.

  1. Go to Canifis and head into the pub and talk to "Malak" the vampire, hell offer you a deal, you kill "Dessous" and you get the diamond. He tells you in order kill "Dessous" you need a silver bar, give it to a guy in Draynor dungeon, get it blessed by the head monk on Entrana, then take it back and he'll fill it with blood THEN you need to add spice and crushed garlic.

  2. Head to Draynor, in Draynor pick up the garlic you need and take the silver bar down to Ruantun and he'll make you a Silver Offering Pot.

  3. Then remove all your armour and head to Entrana. the High Priest in the church he will bless the pot for you.

  4. Return to Malak in Canfis and he will fill your pot with fresh blood (When you talk to malak and you ask for blood, he hurts you for 5 damage and thats what fills your pot) Crush garlic using pestle and mortar and add it and the spice to the pot.

  5. Go through the into the basement of the pub in canfis then out the other end in the middle of the swamp head south to the bridge cross it then head east to the graveyard or if you haven't done the quest allowing you to do that you have to walk round the swamp. Desseous is far south and east. Once there, turn on protect from magic and use the pot of blood on the gave. If you try to range him (not sure bout hally or mage) and use the fence so he uses only magic he will just teleport next to you and he will then attack with meele (or magic if u have protect meele on)which hit constant 17+'s through black range armor. Desseous will appear and attack you. He will use a magic spell that sends bats at you, so make sure you are using protect from magic so it will only hit 5 instead of 10. Kill him then go get the Blood diamond from Malak.

    Tip:
when killing Desseous, you can kill him without taking any damage at all! This should work for mages or rangers and maybe even melee but that's not confirmed... Just go to the spot north of the graveyard, shooting/maging him every now and then so he doesn't return to his tomb. If you did it correctly, he should teleport next to you (he's programmed to teleport next to you if he can't attack you) and then he "realizes" he's too far away from his home and then he starts running back to his home and then as he disappears off your screen.. but visible in minimap, and then he teleports to you again and this happens at least 5 times where you can keep hurting him and he's doesn't hit you at all! Then after doing that several times. He remains in that position... see my pick and then you are free to bring him down while he's stuck there doing nothing, not even teleporting!

    Desseous

Obtaining the Smoke Diamond

Items Needed: Facemask, Food and Prayer pots, Tinderbox, Ice Gloves, and a few Energy potions

Tips - There's no rush in lighting the torches. I did it with no energy pots and about 80% energy at the start (54 agility though). Even with that, the first torch went out about 2 minutes after I got the key. This boss is a joke. Protect from melee and kill him in 3 minutes max.

  1. Head east of the mirrors till you reach a well, make sure you are wearing the facemask before you enter or you will take damage.

  2. You now need to go to the middle square room and look on a chest it says "light the path to claim the key". In all corners of the dungeon there is a torch use your tinderbox to light them. Be quick they do burn out eventually.

  3. Once all the torches are lit run to the chest to "claim" the key. The torches will go out if you do not light them quickly enough, so use energy potions if needed. Open the chest and u will get a "warm key".

  4. Go way east and enter the big room. You will now have to fight the fire demon "Fareed". You cannot hold weapons unless you are using ice gloves and protect from melee is recommended. Once you have killed him you will get the diamond.

    Fareed

Obtaining the Shadow Diamond

Items Needed: Lots of good food for thieving and for the boss.

Note: Don't bother praying on the boss of this one it's a waste of pots and food is more efficient.

Tips - If the rest of the bosses were chickens, this one would be a hobgoblin. Without a doubt, Damis is THE hardest of all four bosses. THERE ARE NO SAFE SPOTS IN THERE!!! No point in praying in there, you won't be able to drink pots AND hit him fast enough; just bring sharks. You can also MAGE Damis using bind/ensnare/entangle spells, making him unable to attack you, thus making your prayer last longer. You should take advantage of this little prayer to protect you from the skeletons around. If you have Claws of Guthix, ABUSE IT HERE!!! The little defense that he gets lowered by helps tremendously.

Tips to help kill Damis:

When doing Desert Treasure, I learned of this trick to help kill Damis.

Items:
Full Rune
Dragon dagger (p,+, or s)(s prefered)
Ardy telle runes
Prayer Pot
Ring of Visibility/ ring of life(optional)

What you do, is after killing the first form of damis, First Form (lvl102) Easy as pie don't waste special's or pots on him. Run him to the back of the the dungeon.

Second Form (lv174) I've seen him hit 28 so be wary, he drains your prayer so don't bother with that just pot up and unload specials into him, and hope that you win. Hide behind the torch, so damis cannot attack you. Every so often, jump out from behind the torch and attack him. He may take some damage, and will eventually be poisoned. Every time you jump out, jump bank into the safe spot after you hit.

Dungeon Entrance

If you find that the skeletons are getting in the way of you killing Damis or they are hitting extra that you really dont need taken away then you can lead Damis back the way you came and out of the multi-combat area. That way you can fight him on his own without all the skeletons interupting.

If you go back the way you came to where the passage is about big enough for 1 person (its not multi-combat) you can get a friend to stand between you and Damis and Damis wont hit you or your friend. Be careful though because if your friend starts attacking the skeleton that respawns there Damis will walk straight though them. If they are acting as a block they MUST NOT FIGHT. Always bank the diamonds after you get them, otherwise you might meet up with a stranger who wants to kill you. You can just run if you need.

When you get all four diamonds, take all of them, one (4) anti poison pot, dragon dagger (p), full dragon hide(the best you can wear because you will need the low weight), 3 prayer potions, and fill the rest with sharks. Use the diamonds with the obilisks outside to open up the door. Do it fast or you might get attacked by a stranger.

The actual pyramid was easy. You can easily navigate through the first 2 levels. Starting on the third, put on protect from melee and RUN. If you go in the wrong corridor, you have to start over again. At the end, open the door and talk to the spirit. Yay! You're done!

  1. Talk to the merchant outside the house west of the moss giants that are near the fishing guild, he'll tell you about the shadow diamond and he proposes a deal that if you get his cross he'll give you the ring that'll allow you to see the guardian and his lair.

    Dungeon Entrance

  2. The best way to get lockpicks is to buy from a guy in the Burthorpe Inn's trapdoor. Climb down and buy lockpicks from him, he sells 25 at a time. This will save time because picking the chest has a high failure rate. Another tip is if you pickpocket the bandits, be sure to pickpocket the lvl 57, you have a better chance of looting picklocks.

  3. In the picnic area to the east a ladder will appear while wearing the ring go down and work your way through the maze.
Image Removed Due to Copyright, Please someone make a new one.
Once you get to him he'll attack:

    First Form
Easy as pie don't waste special's or pots on him.

    Second Form
I've seen him hit 28 so be wary, he drains your prayer so don't bother with that just pot up and unload specials into him. and hope that you win.
After the fight he drops the diamond, pick it up and teleport out.

The Stranger

Though you have the diamond it doesn't end there. Once you have a diamond a level 95 Stranger will attack you with a dragon dagger (P), he specials often and attacks very quickly however is a push over compared to "Fareed" dispose of him anyway you see fit.

The Pyramid

Items Needed: Food and Prayer pots (optional)

  1. After you have all 4 gems head back to Eblis he'll tell you they unlock the pyramid to the south.

  2. Go down to the pyramid and place the gem on there corresponding obelisk doing this opens the pyramid up, go to the top and enter.

  3. Make your way down the levels they get progressively harder and the NPC's are a pain I amused myself by examining the mummy's "highly flammable", "a poor victim of first aid" ....made me laugh.

  4. The 4th level is the last level work your way to the middle room and speak to the spirit "Azzandra" and he'll grant you knowledge to the ANCIENT MAGIC!!!

DIGSITE QUEST

Description: Feeling uneducated? Desperate for buried treasure?

..."There's gold in them there hills" (well stream actually) as well as many other items that can be found at the digsite. Join the students in their attempt to be a qualified archaeologist, and become experienced in making the earth move! Have you got what it takes to unearth the hidden altar to one of Runescape's lesser-known Gods...?

Difficulty: Intermediate

Length: Long

Requirements: Level 25 Thieving, Level 10 Agility and Level 10 Herblore

Items Needed: 1 cut or uncut Opal OR Jade (you can pan for the opal/jade, but it takes a while), Cup of Tea (or 10 gp to buy a cup of tea at the new tea shop in Varrock), Pestle and Mortar, 2 Rope (can pickpocket workmen to get ropes), An Empty Vial, Tinderbox, Gloves, and Boots (Wear gloves and boots at all times!)

Quest Points Reward: 2

Reward: 2 Gold Bars, 2,000 Herblore Experience, 15,300 Mining Experience, and of course the ability to Pan and Dig at the Dig Site.
Extra: Show the Curator all Digging Certificates and you can choose between a free Snack (Chocolate Cake) or a Drink (Fruit Blast Cocktail)

Start Point: All the way southeast of Varrock, (just north of Scorpion Pit mine) Go through gate, head east into building with red floor and talk to Examiners.

To Start: Talk to the Archeological expert.

Instructions:

  1. Talk to the Archeological expert. He tells you to bring anything you find to him. Inquire about exams to Examiner. She gives you an Unstamped letter (was certificate of recommendation).

  2. Go to the Varrock Museum. Use the Unstamped letter (was certificate of recommendation) on the Curator. He will stamp the certificate so you can begin the certification exams. Go to clothes shop next to the general store and buy boots and gloves if you don't already have them; put them on! Also if you don't already have a cup of tea, on your way out of Varrock, buy a cup of tea from the new tea salesman next to the East gate. You can also thieve a cup of tea.

  3. Go back to the Examiner and give her the Stamped certificate of recommendation. Follow the main road north until you come to two wooden walkways. Take the northeast one to the top of the hill (if you get to the tent you went too far). Next to the large urn are two bushes. Search the bush to the east for a Rock sample.

  4. Continue following the walkway to the bottom of the hill. Take the panning tray from inside the large tent.

  5. Go southeast from the tent to the stream and use the panning tray on the panning points. A guide will ask you what you are doing and then tell you that you cannot pan the stream unless you're invited. Ask him how to get invited, he tells you if you do him a favor and get him some tea he will look the other way. Use the cup of tea on the guide to be allowed to pan. Once you pan the stream you must search the panning tray to see what you found. Pan until you get a Rock sample covered with mud and an opal/jade, if you didn't bring one with you.

  6. Go Northwest of the panning points to the dig area and pickpocket the workman until you get a Rock sample and 2 ropes (unless you brought the ropes with you already) and a Specimen brush.

  7. Talk to a student in a green shirt, just north of the workman...he will take Rock sample 1 and give you the following exam answer: the study of earth sciences is the study of the earth, its contents and history. A bit north, talk to a male student in an orange shirt. He will take Rock sample 2 and give this answer: the eligible people to use the digsite are all that have passed the appropriate earth sciences exam. Just a bit north of here, talk to a female student in a purple shirt. She will take Rock sample 3 and give this answer: the proper health and safety points are gloves and boots to be worn at all times, proper tools must be used.

  8. Go back to the Examiner and take the exam. (Note that the correct answers will not be offered until you have spoken to all 3 students and done what they have asked; there are no shortcuts in this quest!) She will give you a Level one certificate and a Trowel for completing the first of 3 exams. Do not lose the Trowel, because at this time, once you complete all 3 exams, you cannot get another one from her; however you can pickpocket a Digsite workman for one. You can take the certificate to the Curator at the museum for safekeeping or you can hold onto it until you get all three and then take them to him.

  9. Go speak to the students again to get the answers to the second exam. The green shirt student tells you correct rockpick usage: always handle with care, strike the rock cleanly on its cleaving point. The orange shirt student tells of correct sample transportation: samples taken in rough form, kept only in sealed containers. The purple shirt student explains finds handling: finds must be carefully handled, and gloves worn... You will get a certificate for completing the 2nd exam. You can take the certificate to the curator at the museum for safekeeping or you can hold onto it until you get all three and then take them to him.

  10. Go speak to the students again to get the answers to the third exam. The female student will ask for an opal/jade in exchange for her help. Specimen brush use: brush carefully and slowly using short strokes. Proper technique for handling bones: handle bones carefully, and keep away from other samples. Sample preparation: samples cleaned and carried only in specimen jars. Take her answer and the guy's answers and go to the Examiner and take the third exam. You will get a certificate for completing the 3rd exam. You now have graduated and can dig anywhere in the dig site. Take your certificate to the curator in the Varrock museum and you either get a Chocolate Cake or Fruit Blast as a reward for graduating.

  11. Go back to the Dig site and go to the northeast corner of the dig site (past a winch that you will use later) near the level 3 area with the buried skeleton. Search the sacks and find the Specimen jar.

  12. Go to the northeast corner to the level 3 area with the buried skeleton and use the Trowel on the soil until you find a Zaros Talisman. Next use the Talisman on the Archeological expert (near the Examiner); he will reward you for your keen eye with a scroll saying you can use his personal mine shaft (which is the winch next to the area you got the Talisman from).

  13. Return to the digsite and use the letter with a workman. He will allow you to enter the shafts. Go to the northwest corner, then go south one level (sign reads lvl 2 digs only) to the area with the winch. Operate the winch and you'll be told you need something to help the bucket reach the bottom. Use the rope with the winch and operate it to lower yourself to the bottom. Take an Arcenia root and climb back to the surface.

  14. Go back to the tents. Search the specimen tray outside of the tent where you found the panning tray until you find Charcoal. Use Pestle and mortar on the charcoal to get another ingredient for the bomb.

  15. Go west of the tent where you got the panning tray; you will find 3 barrels. Use the Trowel on them until one of them is opened. Use the emtpy Vial on the open barrel to get an orange unidentified liquid. Do not, I repeat, do NOT drop the vial! You will take from 20 to 36 damage!

  16. Take vial and use it on Archeological expert (by the Examiner) to get it identified as Nitroglycerin.

  17. Search the bookshelves in the Examiner's room and find the Book of Experimental Chemistry. Read this book. It has the ingredients to make a bomb you will need later on. Search the cupboard to find the Rock pick (Rock pick is not needed to complete the quest).

  18. Go back to the Digsite to the northeast winch; the guy tells you that it's a private winch. Use the scroll on him to be able to go down. Operate the winch. Use your second rope on the winch, then operate it again to go down. Talk to the Workmen and say the following things: I have been invited to work here, then, do you know where I can find a chest key then from then on use the first option in every sentence to beg yourself a new key.

  19. Go to the tent where you got the panning tray. Use the Chest key on the locked chest and you'll receive an unidentified white chemical powder. Take the unidentified powder to the Archeological expert to get it identified as Ammonium nitrate.

  20. Go back to the Digsite and go back down the north west winch. Prepare yourself an explosive compound:

Use the Ammonium nitrate on Nitroglycerin,
Use Ground charcoal on the mixture,
Finally use the Arcenia root on the mixture.

You now have an explosive compound.

  21. Go to the south fork and use the explosive compound on the bricks blocking the way. Then light the brick with your Tinderbox. Once the path has been cleared, go straight ahead and get the Stone tablet in the middle of the room.

  22. Take the Stone tablet back to the Archeological expert to complete the quest and get your reward.

  6. Kaqemeex will give you your reward and then explain some about herblore. He also refers you to the Scribe section of the website for more info.

Difficulty: Experienced

Length: Medium

Requirements: Must have completed Troll Stronghold and Druidic Ritual quests. Level 31 Herblore required.

Items Needed: Climbing Boots, 10 Grain, 5 Raw Chickens, Pineapple Chunks, Vodka (Gin, Brandy, Whiskey, etc. also works), 1 Log, a Water Filled Vial, Ranarr Weed, and a Pestle and Mortar. Optional: Tinderbox, a Falador and Ardougne Teleport, and another Log.

Quest Points Reward: 1

Reward: 11k Herblore Experience, ability to Teleport to Trolheim (Lvl 61 to use and requires 2 Law and 2 Fire Runes)

Instructions:

  1. Go Speak to Sanfew, He will tell you about a herb called goutweed that is needed for the next part of the ritual, unfortunately he doesn't know exactly where it is but he knows its near the trolls somewhere, he tells you that Mad Eadgar might know more and to go see him. Mad Edgar lives in a cave near the dungeons you rescued him from in the Troll Stronghold quest, near the top of the giant mountain spiral. See red circle on image below. To get there, make your way to Tenzing's hut, then follow the path through the arena and past Dad, until you get to the stronghold in the picture below. You can just click on the spiral to run through the maze and get to the top. Beware of the Troll Throwers when running past them, turning on Protect from Missiles is helpful.

  2. Go Speak to Edgar and he will tell you to speak to a troll cook (Burntmeat) as he'll know where it is.

  3. Go Speak to Burntmeat inside the Troll Stronghold (go in the main entrance, then head south and go down the stairs), he'll say he'll only tell you in exchange for some tasty human meat as he's getting bored of goat.

  4. Go back and speak To Eadgar again, he'll tell you he has a cunning plan but you'll need a parrot first.

He tells you where else would you get a parrot except from the zoo?

  5. Head To Ardrougne Zoo and talk to Parroty Pete, find out about the mix up with the vodka and that his favorite food is Pinapple Chunks.

(If you don't have Pineapple Chunks or Vodka, head to the Grand Tree in Tree Gnome Stronghold. Speak to the shop owner Heckel Funch on the second floor to the east of the pub/bar and buy some.)

  6. Dice the pinapple into chunks and use the vodka on them to make alcho-chunks. Then feed these to the parrot by using the alcho-chunks on the hatch on the side of the cage, if you don't use the vodka on the chunks then the parrot will be too quick for you.

  7. Take the Parrot to Eadgar, and he'll tell you he's going to make a scarecrow. For this you'll need something that talk's like a human, taste's like a human, smell's like a human and also that look's like a human. To make this you'll need: 10 grain, 1 log to make a body so it looks human, 5 raw chickens so it taste's human (coz everything tastes like chicken), some dirty robes so it smells like a human, and you'll need to teach the parrot words the trolls would expect to here from a human.

  8. Follow the map below to get to the prison where you rescued Eadgar from in the Troll Stronghold quest. You want to get to F3 where the cells are. Hide the parrot in the torture racks just north of the prison cells. This will teach the parrot to talk. Leave it there and continue on with your quest. .

  9. Head to Taverly and speak to the Druid washing the robes, ask him for some dirty one's and when he says he won't give them to you, tell him Sanfew would be ashamed or threaten to cut down some trees.

  10. Now take the Dirty robes and the other items back to Eadgar.

  11. He'll Explain that it's better if we make a potion so we know the troll is telling the truth as the troll might lie to us. For this you'll need a Ranarr Weed, a Water Filled Vial, and some Troll Thistle (this grows by the back of Eadgar's cave - east and one level below cave entrance).

  12. Go to the top of the mountain just outside Eadgar's house and pick the thistle, then burn it on a fire (There are some near the entance to the Stronghold in the troll camp) and grind it down, then put it in a vial with the Ranarr Weed to get a Troll Potion.

  13. Go give the Potion to Eadgar and he'll tell you to go get the parrot. Head back to the torture rack, and after listening to the parrot about his spleen head back to Eadgar.

  14. Eadgar will use the Parrot on the scarecrow and give you a fake human. Now take this to Burntmeat.

  15. Burntmeat will take the fake human and give you the first thing he ever cooked...burntmeat, now ask him about the Goutweed, and he explains that its in a fake drawer in the bottom of the kitchen drawers. Search the closest set of drawers and find a key.

  16. Head down the stairs to the storeroom. Once inside the store room, you need to get from one side to the other without getting caught by the trolls, this is easier then it seems as the trolls will only throw you out of the store room if they hit you, so don't worry about them seeing you.

  17. Once you are over the other side of the storeroom, grab the Goutweed and a troll will throw you out of the store room.

  18. Take the Goutweed back to Sanfew to collect your reward.

Family Crest

Description: The Fitzharmon family crest has gone missing, and the family honour has been lost. Can you find the crest and return it to Dimintheis in Varrock? There are 3 different rewards available, but you can only choose one, so choose carefully!

Difficulty: Experienced

Length: Long

Requirements: Level 40 mining, level 40 smithing, level 40 crafting, level 59 magic (or if you are 56 you can use a Wizard's Mind Bomb, bought in Falador bar)

Items Needed: 1 of each cooked Swordfish, Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp, Bass, two cut rubies, all the runes needed to cast all of the "Blast" spells, 2 cure poison potions, a pickaxe, some good armor, a good weapon, and some food.

Quest Points Reward: 1

Reward: A pair of steel gauntlets. (click here to find out how they can be enhanced)

Start Point: Southeast of the East Varrock bank.

To Start: Speak to Dimintheis in a little house southeast of the East bank in Varrock.

Instructions:

1. Go to the little house southeast of the East bank in Varrock. You should find a man named Dimintheis.

Talk to him about the family crest. You will need to talk to his sons who have the pieces of the crest. Do them in this order:

First son

1. Talk to Caleb, he is located in a house just northeast of the Catherby bank. Talk to him and he'll give you his piece of the crest if you give him the following cooked fish: Note: If you don't have a high enough cooking or fishing level you can just buy the fish.

Shrimp
Salmon
Tuna
Bass
Swordfish

2. Give him these fish and he will give you his piece of the crest. He should tell you about the second brother in Al Kharid. If he doesn't, talk to him again and he will tell you to go to the Gem Trader in Al Kharid.

Second Son

1. Talk to the Gem Trader in Al Kharid and he will tell you about a man with a poncey yellow cape, hanging around the gold rock in the Scorpion Pit Chasm mine north of Al Kharid.

2. Talk to this Nobleman and he will tell you that if you want his part of the crest you will need to give him a ruby ring and a ruby necklace made from the finest gold. He will tell you that a dwarf named Boot knows where to find the finest gold.

3. Go talk to Boot who is in the Dwarven Mine. See the world map if you can't find Dwarven Mine. Hint: it's north of Falador, down the ladder in a house on the ice mountain.) Boot can be found by going south west, Boot will tell you where the finest gold is found. Bring along a pickaxe, good armor and a good weapon, and probably some food (you will need to beat two level 122 Hellhounds).

4. The finest gold is found in a dungeon east of Ardougne. To make this easy, just go to East Ardougne, and go south east. You will find a ladder surrounded by archways. Go down the ladder. First you will meet some hobgoblins (level 48.). You can't get directly to the finest gold; you have to pull a lot of levers to activate the door. Go to where the door of the Hellhound is. Do the following steps to unlock the door where the gold is:
Hint: If you don't know what a lever's status is (up or down) you can right click on it and click inspect. (Also you may have to pull the levers the opposite way then the guide says)

I) Go to the North wall and pull that lever up
II) Back to the South room and pull that lever up
III) Back to the North wall and pull the lever down
IV) Go inside the North room and pull that lever up
V) Go outside of the room and pull the lever on the North wall up
VI) Go back to the South room and pull that lever down
VII) Open the cage and mine 2 "perfect" ores. (Note: you may or may not have to kill them. Often times there is already someone killing them for range practice.)

5. Use these gold nuggets on a furnace, and now you will have two gold bars. Get your two rubies, a ring mould, a necklace mould, and your two gold bars made from the finest gold. Use a bar on the furnace and make a ruby ring and a ruby necklace.

6. Return to Al Kharid with your ruby ring and ruby necklace made from the finest gold and give them to the Nobleman. He will give you his piece, and will tell you about his younger brother.

Third Son

1. For this part you will need a cure poison potion (it's a good idea to bring two, one for the son and one for you), probably some good armor, a good weapon, all of the runes needed to cast all four blast spells, and either a level 59 magic, or a Wizard's Mind Bomb (can be bought in Falador Bar for 2 coins). By the way, a Wizard's Mind Bomb temporarily increases you 3 magic levels, so you can do this part if you have a level 56 magic or higher.

2. Once you have all of those items go to the Jolly Boar Inn. This is located northeast of Varrock. Look on the world map if you can't find it (it is the big bar). Go inside and go to the southern end. On the second floor you will find, in a room, a wizard.

3. He is the third son. Talk to him, but he has been poisoned. Give him your cure poison potion and he will be cured. He will tell you all about the poison spiders, and about Chronozon (170) having his piece of the crest. He will tell you that in order to kill Chronozon you will need to cast all of the blast spells on him.

4. Now get all of the items mentioned in step 1 and go to Edgeville. Enter the dungeon and fairly deep into the dungeon you will find a gate which can be only accessed on members' servers. (Examine the gates and eventually you will find one that says, "You can pass through this on members servers." This gate is protected by a couple of aggressive skeletons. The members only area is known as the 'Wilderness Dungeon' . Chronozon is located in level 2-3 of the dungeon wilderness, and this area is a non-multicombat area.

5. Go through the gate and you will first meet some thugs (level 10). Head west and get past the Chaos Druids (level 13). Go north and get past the skeletons (level 45) by heading west into the narrow hallway.

6. You will need to pass Black Demons (level 172) and some poison spiders (level 64). Once you think you can do it, go west then south.

7. Now you should be in a room with the Earth Obelisk and Chronozon (level 170). If he hasn't already attacked you, attack him. While you are killing him, you must successfully cast all of the Blast spells, just once. If you don't he will regenerate. You can use prayers. Once you have killed him pick up the crest piece and get out! (Possible way of attack - Hide behind the pillar in the back of the cage, kill and poison spiders that have attacked you, cure you poison, and begin casting your spells on Chronozon...He will not attack you this way.)

Finishing the Quest: Now that you have all three pieces, put them together and go back and talk to Dimintheis. He will be grateful and will reward you. You can get these enchanted. Look below and remember that you can re-enchant them, but it'll cost you 25k gp for each re-enchant by one of the brothers.

Quest Completed!

Enhancing the Gauntlets: Go to any son and talk to him. He will enhance the gauntlets for you if you want.
