Our Father,

hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.

Give us this day
our daily bread

Forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who
trespass against us.

Lead us not
into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

At some point in our life, death is something we all have to face. It does not matter whether a person is rich or poor, black or white, smart or dumb, sick or healthy, young or old, and good or bad, for it does not discriminate.  In this world, we live our life as if we are going to be in this place forever.  We devote our time by living the way we wanted to and ignoring death on the other hand.  However, as the saying goes, "for every beginning, there is an end."  Same thing could be said to our presence or our existence.  For only time will tell of when and how are we going to depart in this earthly place.  As death comes for us, we realize that by avoiding death, we are unprepared.  The final stage or the end of life is an inevitable process of our evolution for everyone has to go through it.  For some, death is the, "cessation of the connection between our mind and our body."  Throughout the world, the term death and dying is considered a taboo for it evokes distorted images and unwelcome subject for many.  Subsequently, others are more open or willing to have a conversation of the subject.  As Mark Twain once said, “the fear of death follows from the fear of life.  A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”  Nevertheless, death is just a state of that and it will remain a mystery for we may never know what is in store for us after we die.
