I like this video a lot. In my opinion, it is way better than Déjà vu and Ring the Alarm. This song is also one of my favourites that she’s made; the lyrics are simple, yet very catchy. I can’t help but notice however, her desperate promotion for her poor excuse of a fashion label House of Dereon clothing line. I heard that this song is only being released in the UK or Europe-or something like that, which I’m happy about, I’m glad she spared us the eardrum shattering Ring he Alarm mess.
Chris Brown ft Bow Wow: Shorty like mine
I surprisingly like this video and the song. The video reminds me of Cassie’s ‘Long way to go’ video with the whole Myspace thing-but like they had more of a budget to spend. I haven’t really got much else to add to this because I have never really rated the two of them, but it’s nice to see Jermaine Dupri working some magic once again-I wish he could do the same for his GIRLFRIEND Janet Jackson.
Justin Timberlake ft T.I.: My love
I don’t want to like Justin because I’m still a bit miffed about that whole superbowl thing and how he waited until he had music to release before he decided to make a proper comment on the situation. However, I absolutely love this tune, I mean, I did fall out of love with it because I had played it to death on my mp3 player (I’m too broke to afford an iPod and to be honest I don’t really think I need one-it’s just an overpriced mp3 player), but his video’s kind of refreshed the song for me. It was a bit on the long side-I mean, I didn’t see the point in the Timbo bit in the beginning, but then it occurred to me that maybe the wanted to recreate their VMA performance. If I’m being truthful, I don’t really think T.I. needs to be on this track, even though he does add something-I don’t know what it is…. Maybe it’s a little “urban” (eurgh I hate that word!) flare, but JT is pretty much “urban” himself. But whatever.

Jamelia & Singuilar: Thank you
So it seems as though Jamelia's record label have given her a third chance, after she had another accidental baby. She should count herself lucky, because records execs hate that kind of stuff... but i guess there ain't no other prominent black female singer in the UK for them to dash her to curb... yet.
This is the watered down "urban version of the song... which i don't like too much. the verse's sound great in my opinion, but the chorus is too rock-ish and different for me. I like the video-it's kinda random, but i like it. it reminds me of the Sugababes 'Follow me home' video and the bit with her in that orange/lobster coloured dress reminds me of Beyonce in 'DeJa Vu'.
Beyonce: Ring the Alarm
I know this video is hella old on the web now, but i've been slacking with the updates and i thought i'd do a tiny review on it.
I like the 'Basic Instinct' concept she's come up with in the video, it's a good idea, and i like her use of symbolic iconography e.g. her putting on her red lipstick symbolising she's killed her man. However, the video looks way too low budget and amateur-esque for me. I know she's trying to reinvent herself, and this is a new style for her, but her director needs to step up her game because she's giving herself a bad name, and she isn't doing her or Beyonce's career any favours.
The scene with Beyonce struggling with the guards really reminds me of Gwen Stefani in No Doubt's "it's my life" video, and the scene where she is supposedly arguing with her man looks too cheap. My favourite scene however, is when she is doing her little solo dance thing with the hooded jacket on (i'm feeling her Dutty wine too lol).
I really hope Beyonce sorts this nonesense out when she releases her third single. i mean, i can see where she's trying to go, but the quality is poor, and she is leaving herself open to get slewed.

I luurrvvee this album from some reason. Its really not what i was expecting, but i like it. When i first heard the album title, i was expecting it to be erm... cliche? as in "Kelis woz ere" with Kelis probably standing infront of a brick wall that's covered in graffiti. i feeling this cover a lot(especially the broadway, classic feel), and it shows her growth as an artist.

New Videos: Fergie and Ciara
there's nothing special about this vrom the fact that it was filmed in London. I don't really feel like commenting on this song too tuff seeing as the song is about giving head, and it's a shame that Fergie didn't do her research properly. If she did do her research, she would know that the bridge she's featured in the video is not London bridge-it is infact Tower bridge. I don't normally compare artists to each other, but, Fergie appears to be trying to emulate Gwen Stefani and her Harajuku girls, but instead she's using her little ghetto beans.
I can't say much about this video because i haven't watched the whole thing, but i do like the song and i think the first 50 seconds of what i saw was good.

when i saw this video i was rolling on the floor with laughter. This guy is such a prick-it's unbelievable. how are you going to talk about your sistahs like that? and the same could be said for black men. another reason why continued to laughwas because the guy is taking it seriously-and even went out of his way to add graphics and shit to the video, and to top it off-he looks like he only digs men!

The Danity Kane cover reminds me of Girls Alouds's ''ll stand by you' video (those from europe will know what i mean). As for Beyonce's album cover-if i have to see that murfurkin hair-do one more time i will scream. at first i didn't get it... then i realised-the hair style looks like a beehive, her album's called B'day-aahh there's a theme. But there's no excuse for it. Hair-do aside, i am looking forward to this album. And i am gonna have to refrain from downloading it when it leaks.

i'm going to be nice to britne once. Even though it's a short clip, i do feel sorry for her. I understand that she wanted to be famous and that singing was her dream, and i know she was not expecting to receive this much media attention, and having her every move scrutinized. It's not her fault she comes across as a lousy mum. She was marketed in a way that ould mean that she would have to stick with that image-and if she tried to go against it (like she has done) she receive some serious flack for it(as she is now).
we always se her effing up because the camera's alwayon her, which puts her uder even more pressure which leads to her making stupid mistakes (e.g. her nearly dropping her baby on the floor, her doing 'X' amount of miles in her car with the baby on her lap).
