Vinddense Equus -

5-2-08: Vinddense is officially closed and all the remaining horses have been retired. It was great fun while it lasted, but Madje could not dedicate his life and time to racing as he once had. He has great gratitude for all those who brought him this far, his horses in particular!

4-5-08: Sultan and Squeaky both showed in third for their final races, while Ekkon tied for third in her last race! Aunty Rae has agreed to let Madje keep Brass Sultan, and the Crow is looking forward to putting the impressive stallion up for stud for the future. Squeaky came home with a slight bob to her head while showing a preference for her front right leg, so she is being treated for lameness, on top of being a bit pampered and spoiled. Ekkon will be reintroduced to a life of casual pleasure riding as Madje's personal mount alongside her friend, Illusian.

3-22-08: Madje has become too busy and can no longer find the proper time to dedicate to his racers, so Vinddense is slowly being disassembled. Vinddense will officially be closed after this next April/May racing season, and future transfers are still pending. Ghost, Stelle, and Rouchente were retired today, Jewel's Reward was transferred back to Samael, and Straight will return to Sam after the completion of the next racing season.

2-20-08: Happy Chinese/Crowseacian New Year! Ghost Prints crossed the wire with a formidable first, and Mystier came in third place, while Squeaker and Brass Sultan both fielded. Madje will more than likely be retiring both horses with consideration for their ages. They've both had good runs with Vinddense, but the Crow doesn't want to push them if they're beginning to feel their years. A happy life as simple horses at the Sanctuary among friends with plenty of love and treats after such hard work is what they deserve! Congratulations to Mystier for moving up to Rank 3!!

1-31-08: Julia sent in this wonderful surprise!! Madje I were unable to attend the Derby, but everyone at Vinddense was so excited to learn that Evening placed!! Aou'me in particular is over-joyed at her ex-Jousting mare's accomplishments and looks forward to seeing her advance in the rankings.

Champions of the Turf Commemorative Plaque, designed by Queen Julia Noir. This piece includes an Artist Rendering of the great Evening of Vinddense Equus after winning a Place the 1408 Classic Challenge Umberwyn Derby. The Plaque has been personally hand signed by this winning Racer's Jockey, Saskia Petranna. Details of the Win are Etched into the solid gold plaque, under the Golden Horseshoe.

1-17-08: Evening performed spectacularly, coming in tied for first First with Telarus' For Sarah. Vish also placed First after a formidable race against Telarus' Rainwater and Rua's Get, Timber from Samael's stable. Straight Til' Morning, a gift from Samael, tore the track down and tackled First place at the wire for his first win with Vinddense! Thais did her best, but fielded along with Nepenthe stablemate, Pavane, though Lethe took home a great Third! Stelledense, after many injuries recovered and took home a remarkable First place!

1-7-08: Happy new year! Wow, no surprise I'm sick again, happy new year to me! (No, really, this always happens) x.x Stidde, Brass Sultan HN, Ekkon, Evening, Ghost Prints, Mystier, Squeaky Wheel, Awe, Thais, and Vish are all slotted to race. Stelle, Jewel's Reward, and half-sister, Straight 'til Morning are all injured. Madje was very proud that Straight placed first, but is depressed again, because she's injured...again. Arr.

12-18-07: Back from the west coast and I'm so freakin' tired, urg. Madje's back from training for the winter holiday and was very sad to learn Squeaker fielded again for the third season in a row. It might just be time to retire the spunky little mare after her good stretch of success. Jewel's also fielded his first Rank 3 race, but Sultan and Ghost Prints came across the wire in third and second.

11-5-07: Awe, Ekkon, Rouchente, and Stidde all came up injured, though I could use a nifty pass, I let it slide, because this way no one needs to be sat out, whee! How convenient is that! Brass, Ghost, Jewel's, Mystier, Squeaker, Stelle, Straight, and Vish, are joined by Riya and Aou'me's mares, Evening and Thais!

11-4-07: Evening and Thais will be running under the Vinddense banner, horray! Updated various things, meanwhile, but I'm exhausted after a visit from my sister...Awe'taidden and Ekkon both placed second, Vish came in first, and Rouchente and Stelle both fielded. Poor Stelle - if she's not injured, she's fielding...On the other hand, Nepenthe Equus had all three horses come in first, which is amazing!! Cheers!

10-11-07: Updated various things. Jewel's Reward and Brass Sultan both ranked up!! Brass Sultan is now Rank 4, Jewel's Reward has gone up to Rank 3! Brass Sultan came in first, Jewel's Reward brought home third, and Mystier took home first-tied! Madje is still training with the Crowsea Militia out in who-knows-where, so who could that Crow at the track have been? Or did he sneak back and go AWOL at the risk of being dishonorably discharged? Dun dun dunnnnnnn! The rest of Vinddense's horses are running on November 1st, how exciting! On a side note, R built me a new computer and dang does it run fast...How I love that man.

9-10-07: Going to visit Riya this week, hooray!!! Updated everything, fixed the rank error with Straight. For September, Madje's horses ran a Second Tied, First, Second Tied, First streak! Jewel's, Stelledense, and Stidde only need one more win to rank up! Ghost, Squeaker, and Straight were injured again, poor things.

8-1-07: It's too hot and humid, bleh! Updated records and whatnot after the August season after I realized Freewebs' subfolder system was actually operational! (This didn't work for the longest time for some reason) Did lots of moving and organizing, relinking and everything. Jewel's ran exceptionally well and took first, Ghost Prints placed third, and Mystier fielded along with Squeaker, sadly. The season they took as a break came back to haunt them, apparently! Too many treats and days of being happy, lazy, carefree horses...! Madje'll have to work on that once he's feeling better.

7-15-07: After the vetting, there were juuuust enough horses to fill the designated slots. How convenient!

7-2-07: H'OJA!!!!!! Samael Rhenvana has graciously allowed Madje to take Jewel's Reward and his (half) Brother, Straight 'til Morning into Vinddense's fold! The Brothers will be welcomed warmly by all and slowly introduced to the Vinddense family! So many thanks to Prince Rhenvana!!

7-1-07: Updated stuff while wandering through allergies in a haze... Brass and Dance are injured along with Wish - Madje's poor babies. Mystery on the Wind's name was shortened on the QCC site to Mystery to save announcer's fingers, and two more lovely horses will be joining Vinddense soon!

5-4-07: Updated pretty much everything - Vinddense is going on Voluntary Inactive for a few seasons while Madje gets his stuff together and figures his life out. Ekkon moved up a rank, whee!

3-5-07: Updated records, added Vinddense's total earnings to the Earnings page, added Stidde back into the mix, as Chan transferred him back to Vinddense rather than retiring him. With the close of the February - March season, Mystier, Ghost Prints (injured for the April - May season), Squeaker, AND Vish have all moved up a rank!

1-24-07: Updated records, whee! Madje's also really excited for his Sisters, who've just opened up their own racing stable, Nepenthe Equus!

1-5-07: Ekkon placed third in her Maiden Race!! H'oja!!!! Everyone but Timothy and Tides managed to show during their races for a very successful December/January Season! Happy New Year!

12-8-06: Silken Dreamer was gifted to Madje from Rae!

11-16-06: Cloude was retired 11-3-06, after a year, he just didn't feel like racing. Brass Sultan HN, heralding from Lady Moon's Glorious Moon Stables, and Maiden Racer of Stelletranse, Echoes, little sister of Madje's first horse, Echo, enter into the mix for Vinddense as of 11-14-06 to compete for the December/January season! Vinddense's First Year Anniversary approaches, and the Crow is so very excited. Squeaky, Mystery, and Smokelike all came in the money - unfortunately Ghost Prints, Dance, and Cloude fielded.

10-12-06: Records and stuff updated to reflect Squeaky and Cloude's races, wheeeeee, go Squeaker!!

9-27-06: Records, Treasury, and Race Horse pages updated! Caisa and Step Lightly were retired 9-11-06. Bad August/September season for Mystier, Cloude, and Vish - but Timothy and Squeaky came in third each!

7-9-06: Records and Treasury page updated, Madje will be amazed to learn that all his horses (and mule) showed, placed, or won!!

5-14-06: Stablehands page updated with pics! Timothy was added, and Bacchanal was transfered to Riyadha!

5-9-06: Records pages updated to reflect Tvelle's retirement, the transfer of Stidde, and the April - May Season.
