Rena was born at St. Vincents Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida on August 8, 1968 as Rena Greek. Rena was the second oldest of 4 kids. She had 2 sisters and a brother. She liked spending time with her with her siblings. She liked to ride motorcycles with her brother and with her sisters she liked riding horses. At the age of 12 Rena starting doing beauty contests to build up her self-confidence because she was very shy and she considered herself not very attrative growing up, and the first time she came in third and then she came in second and then she finally won one. Rena was a very adventurious kid growing up. Her family did not have alot of money so they went without alot of things most of the time they only had the necessitites and then sometimes they did not even have that. Rena went to Ramona Elementary in Jacksonville, Florida.

Occupation: Former model (for six years) with Guess Jeans and Pepsi. She also shot a video for MTV and appeared in numerous print ads. Rena Mero was a wrestling valet/manager and held the women's wrestling championship title.

As a teenager Rena was involved in sports. She was on the high school swim team and high diving team, she was also in gymnastics. She played softball on a city league team called Jacksonville Rebelettes. She played third base and they went to the national championships. She also was kind of a bad girl in school, she would skip school, sneak out of the house at night and just hang out with her friends somewhere. Although she did work hard to keep her grades up. She was a very good math and science student. At age 15 Rena moved out and starting working at a law office and she also worked at an ice cream shop to support herself. Rena's parents were going through a divorce and it was not a good time for her at home so she decided to leave. Later she enrolled herself in modeling school and she began modeling for Pepsi, Guess Jeans and L'Oreal. Now that takes us to where she is today a successful, strong-willed, wonderful person. Rena has shown that no matter what hardships you face in life you can become very successful. That is what makes Rena our inspiration and role model. Finally in 1993, she met the love of her life Marc Mero. How the two met is really a cute story...She went out to dinner with some girlfriends and later in the evening got a note from Marc who was sitting at another table with some of his pals. The note said "'Do you like me? YES or NO, Circle one.'" Rena waited thinking for about twenty minutes and finally wrote MAYBE and circled it. Anyway, Marc then came over to the table and started talking to her...the rest as they say is history. They married in 1994 and Marc adopted Rena's daughter, Mariah. Rena is now in progress of getting her own television show and a movie called DoppleGanger224. In her spare time, Rena enjoys spending time with her family in Orlando. And believe it or not, but Rena's a domesticated woman who likes to cook and clean. She also likes reading and riding horses with her daughter.
