After such a promising start regarding this blog I now find that I am spending more and more of my time neglecting it. Like most things this is not a case of wilful neglect; rather it is due to the fact that I am run off my feet at the moment and have been for quite some time!Rather than allow this blog to die because of my appalling neglect I have decided that I will try and syndicate to it and post entries from my other blogs instead of making a special effort to maintain just this one blog. Initially this was my first baby, however as I discovered my voice and my love of blogging I branched out to several blogs on different topics and different servers. In a word I over-stretched myself! So, what's new there? By way of rectifying this I will be posting excerpts from Polly's other blogs and hoping that you will continue to be my loyal followers...Thank you all so much for your loyal patience. I hope that this step will reward that patience and make the waiting worthwhile.
You know what? I do believe that I am in danger of becoming one of those Moms! So; just to get it over with, I apologize in advance for my over-enthusiastic gushing about how clever my youngest son is...Anyway; on Saturday he competed in the County Finals of the Community Games Gymnastics. This time there was no doubt in my mind that LB would reign victorious; he was to be the only competitor in his category, ie U12 Boys. Imagine my horror when I realised that the dark haired boy in white was to compete against LB!
On Saturday morning; before the Community Games I rose at 5.00am; due to an unresolved case of insomnia. It's amazing how creative these affairs can be. Bored with lying in bed unable to entertain myself for fear of waking DG; I took myself off to the kitchen for a big pot of Illy coffee and some hot toasted chocolate chip brioch which I took out to the studio. Finally I found the inspiration to put together five new cards; which along with other's I have up-loaded to my Etsy shop. Not only has this driven me to update the shop, but also to complete an order I'd awarded myself way back in March; hopefully Jean who lives in France will be receiving her cards and something nice by the end of the week. Enjoy!
