About Me, MiLi

My name is Mirve and I'm 32 years old. I have completed my MSc degree in 2003 and my main subject was advanced mechanics. I live in Tampere with my husband and my two italian greyhounds.

All kind of animals are near my heart, especially dogs and horses. Our family have had dogs since year 1979, but our first sighthound came to us in 1990 from Nordwart-kennel in Ikaalinen. Nordwart Shazbot, Tazi, was black and tan male saluki. His character was wonderful, the real Saluki with big S. Since then salukis has taken our hearts. Two years later we had lucky to get Nordwart Ebnucammil, Kami, Tazi's cousin to live with our family. Kami loved running and he was very playful still in 14 years old. Then we have had Golden Saluki, Nordwart Tanui. There are no words to explain how much we loved our all three "old gentlemans". We miss them so much.

Nowadays my sister has five salukis, Shafaq Oliwer Ozmond, Stenara Afarim Ahr-Kad, Shafaq Sterling Red Queen, Biscotti Razali Nura Salmanazar and Samoems Saree. They are called as Oliwer, Afarim, Soya, Nura and Saree. Soya, Nura and Saree lives with my parents. More information about "our" salukis O&A and Nura & Soya. At February 2007 we had announcement from FCI that our prefix Salmanazar for salukis is approved to me and my sister. Whole my family is involved with racing and we are all pretty active members of PVK.
