The Dance Preachers is a 5/6-piece outfit specializing in playing good-time dance music. Their set list incorporates a variety of sounds ranging from jazz stomps rhythm & blues, cajun and string band and crosses into world music(klezma/celtic/Cuban). The emphasis being on good-time, danceable music. Angelina and JC Grimshaw (brother & sister) front the band, along with drums and bass and additional guitar, violin and accordian depending on availability of other musicians.
