SIDEWINDERS  PUP Tent #3

Pup Tent #3 partnered with the East Valley Young Marines and went up to the AZ Veterans Home on Saturday Sept. 6th and visited with the Veterans living there.  Also while on that visit they delivered over 250 pair of socks, 100 home made blankets (made and donated by local families for our veterans), 150 LBS of snackie foods, and 5 puzzles.  The veterans were very appreciative and we had a great time.

East Valley Young Marines

As a result of our help (a sizable donation to the unit) the East Valley Young Marines were able to participate in the Navajo Nation Code Talker Day Ceremonies. They were able to serve and meet many of these real American Hero's and as a result of this experience their lives are changed forever. Below are several pictures and one paper that was written about their experience.  Thank-you everyone that made this possible for these Young Marines.
