Over the past 3 years there's been a lot of family issues I've had to deal with my mom being in the hospital so many times (she's a got a serious heart condition), my daughter being diagnosed with cancer then finding out later they didn't get it all and she's still is having surgeries and chemo, I'm also taking care of her Pugs while she goes through the chemo treatments my s. dad died, my aunt (that I grew up with) died, my other aunt (both my mom's sisters and we're a close Catholic family) was diagnosed with lung cancer never having smoked a day in her life, then in Feb. 08 my dad died leaving my mom all alone for the first time in her life & her health had declined rapidly since.

I don't have a kennel, all my dogs are house dogs, they sleep in bed with us, and on their own beds, I don't have any help since my husband is a veterinarian and is at the clinic all day, so there are emails I unfortunately hadn't been able to answer or call I wasn't able to return, I feel bad about it but my dogs come first always!!!

I always wonder about people who say they are a small family "kennel" but are able to get right on top of phone calls and email everyone right back, I work sometimes 22 hour days just taking care of the dogs so if they are able to do that their dogs aren't getting the attention they deserve!!! If you do send an email or a puppy application and don't hear from me, send it again someone who is persistant always wins points in my book it tells me that the are comitted. I chose only the best of the best homes for my babies, I put my heart & soul into raising them to be the best dogs possible and to make the transistion from going from the nursery to your home as easy as possible & stand behind our babies for life making ourselves available to give you expert questions 24/7 after the puppies go home in regards to nutrition, health/wellness, always able to answer the question whether you have to take you puppy to the vet or no. I do consult with people all over the world in regards to their bullmastiffs because their breeder gave them bad information in terms of raising a giant breed dog and even some vets will even get on board with all kinds of things like "growing them slow" and "limiting exercise", etc. there's a lot of misconseption on the web today and it's causing harm to giant breeed puppies!!!

These puppies come from very carefully health screened parents and have a superior genetic make up, we breed for health, longevity, temperament (I mean the sweetest dogs, the trust you no matter what and would let a one year old baby take a bone out of their mouths!) and for conformation according to AKC standards for the breed. We do NOT inbreed our dogs, knowing far too much about genetics to ever do that, we don't even line breed them (meaning breeding close relatives) it's very common for "show" breeders to line breed and frequently in breed talking to some who actually brag about it, they inbreed to maintain a certain "look" but the people who end up getting these puppies from them I end up doing consult with and not only do they have a host of medical problems, they have a lot of emotional issues (Like severe shyness or aggressive behavior). I am a canine behaviorst so I see a lot of dogs of all breeds in my office for issues just like that. It never made any sense to me to inbreed aside from the pain and suffering they cause the puppy & the family that loves them, what sense does it make to breed a dog that looks great if they die before the age of 3 yrs old!!?? My concern aside from the immediate effects of their actions is that they will end up ruining the breed ultimately passing on all these bad genes like so many other breeds have been ruined in the past, I've made a lot of enemies out of people who breed badly because I ask them why and ask if they don't care about the future of the breed or just care about patting each other on the backs for winning ribbons-they don't care about the dogs most spend the first couple of years of their lives living out of crates, given god knows what to bulk up their muscle (I'm sure you can guess-then wonder why the females can't get pregnant on their own...ugh), these aren't happy dogs, they look happy in the ring probably because it's the only time they get any real attention, I feel so bad for them since my dogs are so spoiled.

Anyway you won't have to worry about those kinds of problems with one of my babies, we are so confident in the health and temperament of our line that we guaratee each puppy against any genetic disease for the expected longevity of the breed (not including typical old age issues) and we guarantee temperament for 2 years!!!! Typically you'll see a one year health guarantee on hips (but you won't know if they have bad hips until they are 2) and they are obligated by law to offer a one year health guarantee of some sort usually making you euthanize (kill) the puppy and they will replace it out of the same parents....really awful!!

I always say (and it's really true) is you get what you pay for, but some of these breeders who are putting out these bad pups are asking $2000.00-$3000.00+ for them, unbeliveable!!!

I am affilated with no other breeders because of this very reason. I could spend all day typing a list of breeders that I've heard from people that had one of their puppies (breeders well known in the show world and ABA) that I did consultation with the owners of the puppies, they've even sent pictures of the puppies and they had some very serious health issues and the breeders told them that it was ok and they were fine to breed, again unbelivable and these were from well known show breeders. Some of these breeders have wanted to purchase one of my puppies saying they needed new blood in their line (I'd hope so since the gene pool would be so shallow) but I refuse to sell my puppies to them because I don't want my name asssociated with them even though some other breeders may think it would be an honor to have their name associated with some of these breeders. I think the dogs and the future of the breed should come first but there's so few of us out there that have these values, strong ethics and stick to them! I would like to start our own group leaving the AKC parent group for the breed behind, they lost sight of what is truly important and it's very sad.

Ok, I'll get off my soap box now because I could go on and on about it, I care so much about these dogs and HATE to see bad genes passed on and on!

Anyway, when we recieve your application it we will carefully review it. If your application is not approved we will let you know exactly why, in most cases it's usually because someone has decided on this breed from seeing a Bullmastiff in a movie or commercial & not knowing enough about the breed. We want to make sure that you know as much as possible about this wonderful breed & know that they are going to be the perfect dog for you, your family & your life style. If your application is approved we will also let you know & send you a brief form to fill out letting us know a little more about your family, your life style & what color, sex, personality puppy that you think would best fit into your family, for instance if you have very young children you'd want a really mellow laid back pup, or if you had other dogs you'd want a easy going non dominant pup, I work very hard to find the perfect fit because a puppy is a commitment of love. Once you have one of our babies we will always be here for you to help you with training, answering any questions you might have, we never mind answering questions & we stand behind our babies for life, you will get a life time of support guaranteed!

If your puppy application is approved, first congratulations because I am EXTREMELY picky about who gets one of my babies!!

We ask for a $400.00 deposit to hold a puppy for you, this may be refundable in some cases, I am a very fair person and pretty easy going and easy to work with!
