Appearance (6) Vel'tras is about 6'5" and about 180lbs, he's not lanky by any means, nor is he heavily muscled. He is well built and developed, strong and hard. He has dark brown eyes that can be sexy and sensual, warm and friendly, or piercingly deathly in it's observation when he is displeased. Vel'tras has a head full of wavy dark brown hair, and in the sunlight one can see deep mahogany red and amber gold highlights that are also reflected in his dark eyes. His skin is supple over his hard body, golden brown, bronzing in the summer heat, and casting towards olive in the dead of winter. He's a visibly hairy man as dark hair coats his entire body, his arms, legs, chest, and he even has a thick treasure trail that bull's-eye an extremely well endowed package. Although he's clean shaven in the morning, by early evening his chiseled jaw has a five o'clock shadow that leave the ladies, and most men, drooling. He likes his tunics in Pern colors and his shirts in a palate of dark greens, blues, and browns. He also prefers to wear snug wher hide pant and his mid-calf work boots. At his side is his belt knife. A monstrous thing that fits comfortably in his huge hands, he's ambidextrous in its use and has won many a challenge to first blood with it.
Personality: Vel'tras walks with the confidence of the Weyrleader. When he is in the Weyr everyone shows him the respect due him as their Weyrleader, and when he is out and about on Hidebound Pern as Veletras, he is looked upon with great respect as the son of Melton Holder of Akh-tel Runner Hold, and he's an accomplished equestrian in his own right. Vel'tras is very charming and charismatic and uses it to his advantages, and everything he does he does with a purpose leaving nothing to chance. Vel'tras doesn't like to lose at anything, and so he is always pushing himself at everything, and that attitude spreads throughout his Weyr as he will accept nothing but the best from his riders and his guards. Vel'tras values his father's advice as the leader of the Hold that looks to the Weyr and would brook no hearsay of his family. He is also very militant in his running of the Weyr and the Protectorate, albeit the Protectorate portion is done covertly.
History (10) Veletras is the fourth son of Holder Melton and Lady Jain of Akh-tel Runner Hold beholden to High Reaches Hold. This Hold sits on the foot hills of High Reaches Mountain Range. This means that the majority of common folks tend to stay away from the Hold. They have all heard the stories of dragons in those hills, evil things that will steel ones mind, and invade their souls. However, the Lord Holder scoffs at those tales. Akh-tel Hold is his most productive Hold. Sure, tis true that he's never encountered a group of more arrogant and fearless folks in his lifetime, but they're all excellent runner masters and runner folk, and whenever he visits the Hold he is treated with the highest honors that a Hold can bestow on its Lord Holder. The truth is that yes, they are a Beastcraft Hold specializing in runners, but also it has always been High Reaches Weyr's cover. Everyone in the Hold lives a double life with the Weyr, and they are taught from the time that they can understand of the mighty Trust that they hold and must never betray.
Growing up with runners Veletras was always riding up to the Weyr to be with the dragons. Sure he would learn his lessons and practice his riding but it was always the dragons that called to him. Seeing this in their son his parents allowed him to stand when he was twelve, and they weren't in the least surprised when Veletras Impressed to the largest bronze in the clutch becoming Vel'tras. During weyrlinghood he and Thorulith excelled in all their lessons, and were even the team Captains in their weyrling games. After graduation they made rank rather quickly moving up the ladder to Wing leadership, soon after making Wingleader of Justice Flight, the head WeyrWoman's Gold rose and it was Vel'tras and Thorulith who caught her. Thorulith has caught her every single time since then, and Vel'tras has developed into a Weyrleader that is well looked upon and greatly respected.

Appearance (6) Thorulith was a very large dragonet when he hatched, already the size of a small green. As the months went by he grew by leaps and bounds quickly outgrowing his weyrling couch making the Weyrling Master make the exception of providing Vel'tras and Thorulith with their own weyr giving them a very large bronze pairing weyr that would always be theirs. Vel'tras has kept this weyr in addition to his WL's weyr as a private retreat. Thorulith is built like a tank, huge muscles ripples through his whole length. He's dark in color, bronze shimmer at the night even if it¿s bright day out. His wings are mighty sails that put the largest ship's mast to shame. His tail is very long and thick and whips around as though it has a life of its own, and indeed it does as he is a proven lover of golds and greens. His huge head is equestrian in shape, his eyes giant swirling with the jewel tones of his emotions.
Personality(6) Thorulith has a commanding personality, charismatic yet authoritative, and he keeps his fighting dragons on their claws brooking no slackers or neglect from the riders for their dragons.
