Having leapt from magazine to manga to movies, Dominator is an extraordinary character and series that has taken bold efforts and is an undeniable cult icon. Originating from Metal Hammer, Dominator became the first-ever British-created manga and was published in Kodansha Comic Afternoon in 1993 before advancing ten years on to be billed as Britain's first full-length CGI movie; low budget it may have been, this was a first that stood out from the rest, with a demonic rockstar for a title character, the movie was pumped British comedy daftness, hails of swearing, booze, sex and other hellish madness. It was ridiculous, but the content in the first Dominator movie is an absolute rarity. Dominator has greatly evolved, with the series' latest transformation being Dominator X; an all-new revamp of the character and his return to cinema featuring new characters and storylines, while being set to a visual roller coaster of bigger budget CG animation and artsy techniques. Named after the Cradle Of Filth song that was featured on the first film’s soundtrack, this website is dedicated to the designs, characters, humour, action and effort that has been put into this insane and almost fantastical series.
05/06/2009 - If there's ANYONE still visiting this webpage, then you've probably guessed that I've stopped updating. Basically, Dominator X is not coming out, it's been three years and the final word is that it's canceled, this site has been fun to run, but it's not serving much of a purpose at all, so it's going to stay open and collect dust unless someone ignites some interest in Dominator again. If you were of the minority that liked Dominator, then by all means keep this little piece of odd British cinema alive, it wasn't a movie for everyone, and we certainly won't see anything like it again anytime soon.

11/02/2008 - I decided to remove all the old news. I'm changing the site around a bit, still unable to actually update with content due to business in life and college. At the very least, the Links page has been updated.
