Hi, my name is Vicky and welcome to my new site! This is a work in progress so please keep looking back for my updates. I am a wife and mother of two boys aged 3 and 18 months. My children and 14 bunnies keep me very busy and i am also studying accountancy.
I have kept rabbits as pets since i was very young. As a little girl i remember being given 'The Velveteen Rabbit' story book and a beautiful toy rabbit for Christmas one year. I fell in love with the story and to this day i still have that exact book which i regularly read to my children.
It was not until a couple of years ago that i found out that 'Velveteen' rabbits actually do exist! This was when i found the Rex! My next discovery was that yes they do feel just like velvet and that Rexes come in many colours, not just Castor as the one in my book!
After doing lots of research and meeting many breeders and their bunnies i finally decided that i would keep orange, blue and himalayan Rex. I am a member of the British Rabbit Council and currently have 14 Rexes, but this number seems to be growing quickly!

My bunnies are first and foremost family pets. They are kept in a minimum of a 4ft hutch which are all housed in a shed to protect them from the elements. They are fed on fresh fruit and vegetables daily, unlimited hay and supplimented with pellets. All bunnies have a minimum of 3 hours exercise daily in an 18ft purpose built enclosure. However, this is often longer during the summer when daylight hours are longer. They are all handled daily by my whole family and so are used to young children.
I do not make any profit from the sale of my bunnies. All money raised goes straight back into the upkeep of them including; food, bedding, new hutches and vet bills.
