variations and layering. (Bring a veil!)
1-3 * Musical
Understanding – Recognizing rhythm, timing, and melody in Middle Eastern
music using vitalizing steps and a beat.
Sunday, July 20
10-12 noon:
* Drum Solo Movements & Choreography – Methods to non-stop
shimmies, crisp and forceful accents, and a high-quality Drum Solo. This workshop
will culminate in Nanna's drum solo choreography.
