I like to play video games a lot. Mainly because I'm good at them. Most people think it's just stupid stuff that takes no thinking. That is true for most of them. But on the PC, gaming is completely different. The smarter you are, the better you'll be. It takes quick reactions and good thinking skills to be a true gamer. Anyways it is all just virtual reality, but it's still loads of fun.
Halo 1 is a classic. While I don't play it to much anymore, I still know all the maps like the back of my hand. While there is not to much skill involved in this game, the various game types and easy online multiplayer make it fun to play. I have beaten the campaign on every difficulty except legendary, I'm about half way through on it. Online my tag is "Someguy". I hate modded rooms and I tend to stay away from them. My favorite is CTF at Danger Canyon, Ice Fields, Sidewinder, or Blood Gulch.
WarRock is my favorite PC game of all time. It is pretty much the only one I still play. It also takes the most skill out of all the games I've played. While there is tons of lag, hackers, and glitchers, if you can avoid them, then it's a great game. This FPS is pretty simple but very fun. It's free but only has multi-player mode, there is no campaign. Still campaigns wouldn't really work for this type of game, multi-player is what it's meant for. Battlefield: 2142 is a decent game but lacks in online play. While there really is no campaign, you can still play singleplayer against the AI. Online is really the only way to go if you want to have fun and earn medals and unlock the new weapons. I have gotten a good distance into the ranks but I've nearly given up on the game as it lags so horribly. If everyone had a super fast connection, this game would be awesome and I'm sure I would beast at it. Instead I will be killed only to hear the shots fired several seconds afterwards. Sometimes the lag will calm down but usually everything is delayed, people will tank a lot too. Anyways I currently have a medic with all the Assault unlocks (someguytthehero) and a sniper with all of the sniper branch unlocks (not the auto-sniper branch), and the sniper's the one I play most with (Vectris).
