20/09/08: Today we had a most enjoyable gathering at Cardiff Flying Club. We had a turnout of 10 ducklings which wasn't bad at all! Photos to come...

30/04/07: Yesterday the most successful VBFC meet up yet took place, with a good turnout of 15 ducklings! Click HERE to see some pictures of the day.

10/12/06: Congratulations to Tony Bond CLF15 who has now been upgraded to Flying Instructor. We wish Tony success in his new appointment.

05/10/06: Congratulations to Neil Jackson CLF30 who has now been rated Flying Instructor. Thanks to Neil for his continuing hard work within VBFC.

29/07/06: VBFC Celebrated its one year anniversary on 18th July 2006. Through this one year VBFC has thrived and the amount of members is ever increasing, with an attractive, successful training scheme headed by our very own Trevor Watchorn. There will be a celebratory event for the anniversary, see the events section. The Helicopter division is now in operation also.

24/04/06: Latest news in brief is that VBFC members are increasing all the time, and we hope to continue our growth by introducing a Helicopter Division. Also training night has changed to Friday nights.

20/11/05: Latest news is that we will now be carrying out training nights every Wednesday night, meeting on the Southside around 1900Z. Also, Gary Summons has now updated UK2000 Scenery for Bristol which now includes the southside parking area! As you can see: (Click to enlarge). 18/07/05: We are pleased to announce the launch of Virtual Bristol Flying Centre today. As of today, we will be providing the first ever Bristol-based light aircraft flying centre on the VATSIM network. We will be providing training for new pilots and a flying community for existing more experienced pilots who wish to fly light aircraft online from Bristol, or for our virtual air charter. Lastly, Id like to thank the real Bristol Flying Centre (www.b-f-c.co.uk) for allowing me to set this up.
