I am Eva Lahtinen-Debève, born in Helsinki, Finland. I moved in Belgium 1995. Married and have two children, a boy and a girl. We live in the countryside in Brugelette. I have always worked with animals in my professional life. My passion and my hobby is training animals -dogs, horses, sea lions, pigs, you name it! You can spot me also with my other passion, photographing animals and nature, domestic and wild.
Dogs have always been part of my life from early childhood. I got my kennel name Yan-Yan through the Finnish Kennel Club 1991. I started my breeding career with German Shepherds in Finland. At present I don´t have any German Shepherds of my own but the breed is still one of my favorites. Maybe in the future ...
In Belgium I acquired my first Swedish Vallhunds. I lost my heart to this energetic and corrageous dog which has the caracteristics of a big dog. I first got acquainted with Swedish Vallhunds already in Finland in equestrian dressage circles (Kyra Kyrklund). Many riders in the Nordic countries have a "västgötaspets" as their favorite companion.

Je m'apelle Eva Lahtinen-Debève, née à Helsinki en Finlande. Je suis arrivée en Belgique en 1995. Mon mari est belge, nous avons 2 enfants, un garçon et une fille. Nous vivons à la campagne, dans un petit village appelé Brugelette.
Depuis mon enfance, les chiens ont toujours fait partie de ma vie. J'ai commencé l'élevage de Berger Allemands en Finlande en 1991 sous l'affixe "Yan-Yan".
En 2006, j'ai fait l'aquisition de mon premier Spitz de Wisigoths. Je suis tombée amoureuse de ces chiens énergiques et courageux qui ont les mêmes caractéristiques qu'un grand chien. Ma première rencontre avec des chien de cette race s'est passée en Finlande, dans des cercles équestres. Beaucoup de cavaliers scandinaves possèdent un Spitz de Wisigoth comme compagnon canin.
