The fulfillment of the Spring Feast of YahWeh “the Lord”

Yahshua = YahWeh is the Messiah

“Jesus the Christ”

Yahshua came to fulfill the Law or he came to fulfill the Makrah or rehearsals of the spring feast that the Jews had been doing year after year century after century. In this teaching you will see how Yahshua literally fulfilled the Spring Feast. When Yahshua comes again to set up his Kingdom here on the Earth he will fulfill the Fall feast of Yahweh “the Lord”

We must first look at the name given to the Month of firstfruits the first month of the Jewish callander. Abiyb is an ear of corn, and is the month of newly-ripened grain (Ex. 13:4; 23:15); the first of the Jewish ecclesiastical year, and the seventh of the civil year. It began about the time of the vernal equinox, on 21st March. It was called Nisan, after the Captivity (Neh. 2:1). On the fifteenth day of the month, harvest was begun by gathering a sheaf of barley, which was offered unto the Lord on the sixteenth (Lev. 23:4-11).

Abiyb Defined

Abiyb was the Egyptian word for green ears, referring to the green barley that was offered as the firstfruits to God in that month. Abiyb is used four times in the Word (Exodus 13:4; Exodus 23:15; Exodus 34:18). The Septuagint calls it the month of new things. Nisan is substituted for Abiyb after Ex.13:18. Nisan means the month of flowers or blossoms (Neh. 2:1; Esther 3:7).

The Passover was killed in the evening in Egypt (Exodus 12:6), but the people did not

leave until after midnight (Exodus 29-42).

abiyb,  aw-beeb'; from an unused root (meaning to be tender); green, i.e. a young ear of grain; hence the name of the month Abiyb or Nisan :- Abiyb, ear, green ears of corn.

Each day of Abiyb had a specific meaning and the Jews were comanded to adhere to Eloheems “Gods’’  specific instruction about each day.

On the 10th. day of Abiyb the high priest would go out the north gate to Bethlehem to select the Passover lamb.  “Yahshua” the Lamb of God was born in Bethlehem.”

Some of the priest would stay at the gate and wait for the high priest to return with the lamb. When the priest would see the high priest coming with the lamb the priest at the gate would begin shouting Hosanna to the highest Blessed is he that comes in the name of YahWeh.

This is spoken of in   Psalm 118:25-26 (KJV)   Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. 26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

Then all the priest all the way to the Temple would begin shouting and a chain reaction would begin  and all the people of Jerusalem would get involved with the celebration and they Would lay their palm leaves on the ground for the high priest to walk on with the Passover lamb.

In the year of  (30 A.D), It went down a little different. Lets go back to the 9th. day of Abiyb or 6 days before Passover. Yahshua took a handful of his disciples to Simons house were Lazarus was  John 12:1a. Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was

Then Mary anointed Yahshua and prepared him for his burial.  John 12:3   Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

John 12:7 (KJV)   Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

The next morning on the 10th. day of Abiyb Yahshua instructed his disciples .

Matthew 21:5 (KJV)   Tell ye the daughter of Sion, [ which is Jerusalem ] Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

This was done so the prophecy of Zech.9;9 could be fulfilled.

Zech. 9:9 (KJV)   Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Matthew 21:6-8 (KJV)  And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. 8And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 15Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. 16These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

17The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

Matthew 21:18For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. 19The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

19  And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

Luke 19:39-40

And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

What had happened was at the time the High Priest should be coming through the North gate with the sacrificial lamb Yahshua came  riding up on a donkey and his desciples which probably numbered in the hundreds began shouting Hosanna to the son of David blessed is he that cometh in the name of YahWeh “the Lord” This created a chain reaction and all the people began shouting and laying down their Palm leaves in the path to the Temple and instead of Caiaphas the high priest “The High Priest Yahshua” came riding through Jerusalem on a Donkey to the Temple. Yahshua was telling them that this was the day the Mikrah  or [rehearsal  was being fulfilled. This had been rehearsed by the Jews for hundreds of years and Yahshua was fulfilling it that day. The feast of YahWeh “ the Lord” would have been fulfilled Know matter what the people did  even if by the rocks crying out. They have realized by this time that they cannot shut up the crowed and by this the Feast of YahWeh ‘the Lord” would be literally fulfilled by the Lamb of Eloheem “God”

After the high priest brought the lamb to the Temple the priest and all the relegious leaders would inspect it for

4 days until the 14th. of Abiyb to make sure it didn’t have a spot or blemish on it.

When the lamb of Eloheem “God” Yahshua arrived at the Temple all the religious leaders Pharisees, Sagasees, Herodians and priest inspected him for 4 days with questions and false accusations trying to find fault with him.

On Tue before sunset  the 13th. day of Abyib Yahshuah instructed his disciples to prepare for the Passover

Tuesday at sunset begins the 14th.of Abyib  to Wednesday sunset, this was the day of the preparation when the Passover must be killed.  The next day wed. at sunset

the 15th.of Abyib would begin the "high day," the great special Sabbath, not the ordinary weekly Sabbath (John 19:30-31; Leviticus 23:6-7).  The regular feast of unleavened bread did not officially begin until a day after the Passover, but Jews began to eat this bread on the day of the preparation, and that is what is referred to here.

After sunset Luke 22:7 (KJV)   Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed

Then came the 14th. of Abyib. .Tue after sunset the disciples sit at meat with Yahshua to eat the feast of unleavened bread .

Luke 22:14-20 (KJV)   And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

15And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 16For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. 19And he took bread, and gave thanks, [What he was doing was blessing the bread and wine just like when Melehizedek broke bread and wine with Abraham ]  and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. [What he was doing was he was fulfilling what they had practiced for hundreds of years since Abraham. He was saying this is what you’ve been doing century after century and Sabbath after Sabbath. He interpreted what they had been doing all along by saying  This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. This cup is the New Testament in my blood, which is shed for you. ]

The Last Supper was not Passover but the Last Supper or the feast of unleavened bread, which they had started eating early at this time “see previous page”

Latter that night at the garden of  Gethsemane Judas betrayed Yahshua with a kiss and the led him away to Annas.

John 18:13 (KJV)   And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. [And then ] Matthew 26:57b. (KJV) to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

[Then they led him unto Piolet to be judged ]

John 18:28 (KJV)   Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the Passover.

[It was just after break of day “early” By this scripture we see that the lamb had not yet been sacrificed and eaten yet or the Passover hadn’t taken place yet because it was not time it was not even  eh'-reb; from Hebrew 6150 (`arab); dusk :- + day, even (-ing, tide), just before sunset.

It was law that a Jew could not defile himself by going into an infidels home during Passover or he would be unclean and couldn’t eat of the Passover lamb.  The high priest had to prepare and give the Passover lamb for sacrifice at the ninth hour or 3pm. The priest had to have Yahshua judged in time for him to complete his work.]

Matthew 27:1-2 (KJV)   When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: 2And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

Luke 23:14 (KJV)   Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

After the 4 days of inspecting the lamb the high priest would say I have fount no fault in him.

The same as Pilate did Yahshua.

Matthew 27:19 (KJV)   When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

Matthew 27:24 (KJV)   When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

Now we must go back to Abraham and Isaac.

Genesis 22:6-9 (KJV)  And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

Abraham put the wood of the sacrifice on Isaac’s back and the wood of the sacrifice was put on Yahshua’s back “the cross”.

John 19:17 (KJV)   And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

Gen.22: 7And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? 8And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

God himself Yahshua would be that sacrifice.

9And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

This is the same place Yahshua was crucified.

Luke 23:34 (KJV)   Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.

Here we have Yahshua asking for forgiveness for their sins just as the High priest would.

Mark 15:24-25 (KJV) And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

25And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

We must now read

Mark 15:22 (KJV)   And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.

Why was it called the place of a scull? Here is my understanding of this matter.

We must go to the Hebrew to understand this. David took the skull of Goliath of Gath and buried it outside of Jerusalem on Mt. Moriah.By this it was named the place of the skull.Lets look at two Hebrew words      gol-yath'—of - gath—   or Golgotha

The Word tells us in

Psalm 22:12 (KJV)  Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

Bulls- par—as dividing the hoof) “Slew feet satanic beings”

Bashan- baw-shawn'—a region of Palestine :- [Bashan-] Havoth-jair.—

This Location is where many Giants where conceived by Fallen Angels and lived and died.

When we put all this together we see that this is talking about the spirits of the Giants that had been slain they where at the cross

Psalm 22:13 (KJV)  They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

These they where tormenting Christ  even until his death.

The 3rd. hour was 9:00 a.m. in the morning He was nailed to the cross.  He expired six hours later at 3:00 p.m. at the time when the Passover lambs were to be killed (Matthew 27:45-50; Luke 23:44-46)

Numbers 9:11 (KJV)  The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.  eh'-reb; from Hebrew 6150 (`arab); dusk :- + day, even (-ing, tide), night.

Matthew 27:45-46 (KJV)   Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

At this hour the sun should be reflecting off of the golden bowls like lightning but not so this day it was pitch dark.

46And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

This was the same meaning of the rejection of the Jews and them being cut off.

Hebrews 13:11-12 (KJV)   For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. 12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

John 19:28-37 (KJV)  After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

After the high priest had sacrificed the lamb he would say  “I thirst” and he would receive first fruit wine to drink.

29Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

aox'-os; from Greek 3691 (oxus); vinegar, i.e. sour wine :Instead of first fruits they gave Yahshua sour wine from sour grapes.

30When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said,.

It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

When the high priest had finished giving the sacrifice he would say  “It is finished” The sacrificial lamb was slain and put in the oven at this time of day.

31The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) Deut. 21:23 besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

32Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. 33But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: 34But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. 35And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.

36For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. 37And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

Matthew 27:51-54 (KJV)  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

What did he see and what did John bear record of ?

The earthquake had rent the rocks and the earth was opened and the blood of the Lamb of Eloheem “God’’ Didn’t fall on the ground but went down the crack “which can partially be seen today” and the blood landed in the Mercy seat of the Ark of the covenant that had been placed by Jeremiah the prophet in the stone case that was built by Soloman and who placed it under were the cross was to be . This was the completion and final atonement of blood that will ever be needed.  “ See  the Ark hidden”

Hebrews 9:16 (KJV)  For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. This verse tells without a doubt that the testament 10 commandments are under were Yahshua the testator was put to death.

If Satan would have known that Yahshua was fulfilling the spring feast of Yahweh “the Lord”he would have never had Yahshua “Jesus” crucified which fulfilled the Atonement of sin for all.

1 Cor. 2:8 (KJV)  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

The Apochryphay of 2Maccabees 2:5  And Jeremiah came and found a cave, and he brought there the tent and the ark and the altar of incense, and he sealed up the entrance.6  Some of those who followed him came up to mark the way, but could not find it.7  When Jeremiah learned of it, he rebuked them and declared: "The place shall be unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows his mercy. 8  And then the Lord will disclose these things, and the glory of the Lord and the cloud will appear, as they were shown in the case of Moses, and as Solomon asked that the place should be specially consecrated." When the soldier plunged

the spear into Yahshua’s  side the Blood ran down the Crack into the earth made by the earthquake and   landed on the mercy seat just below the cross to complete the Atonement for our sins.

 The Cross

Hebrews 9:11-12  But Christ   being   come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater  and  more perfect tabernacle, not  made with hands, that is to say, not of this  building; 12Neither by the blood of goats and calve but, by his own    blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal   redemption for us.

[Here again we have  the Word revelaling  that Yahshua’s blood entered. The holy place or the Ark of the covenant.  This happened literally.]

Hebrews 9:2 For there was a  tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the  shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

Wereever these are is the tabernacle and  were the Ark is would be the Holy Place

Hebrews 9:20 -21  Saying, This is the  blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with     blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

The blood went thru the crack. The blood not only landed on the mercy seat of the Ark but it splatterd on all the vessals of the ministry which are in the stone case as well.

1 John 5:6-8 (KJV)  This is he that came by water and blood, evenJesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

[ Yahshua came by water and blood  and the spirit beareth witness This is why he spilt his blood and water to fulfill all things and now they are three that bear record in the earth.

Yahshua was to be cut off  Daniel 9:26 or slain 483 years after Nehmiah was given the comandment to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem that was in the month of Nissan 445 B.c.. I believe it was the 14th. of Abyib which would make it exactly 483 years to the day when Yahshua was to be cut off or slain ,not for himself but for us. ( see Daniels 70th. week )

Neh. 2:1 (KJV)   And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.

Mark 16: 9 (KJV)   Now when Jesus was risen ,early the first day of the week he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

This verse only means that after Jesus had risen he appeared to Mary early the following day which would only have been approx 3 hours latter. He was resurredted on Sat. at the 9th. Hour which was 3pm. Then at the 12th. Hour 6 pm. Began the next day. Mary came early some time after the 12th. He was in hell and His body in the tomb Wed. 3pm to,Thur. 3pm to Fri. 3pm to Sat. 3pm . So he was in the grave Thur. Fri. and Sat.  until 3 pm. Which was a Sabbath .So he was resurrected at the exact moment after 3 days and 3 nights which would have been at Even time on Sat. around the 9th. Hour(3pm.) the hour of his death. His resurrection would have been on the Sabbath “Sat.”Yahshua fulfilled the Sabbath by so we esteem no day greater than any other. Every day is suppose to be Holy.

John 20:16-17 (KJV)   Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. 17Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Yahshua had not yet ascended to heaven with the wave offering the first fruits.

The priest would have to present the First fruits offering to complete the spring feast.

Leviticus 23:20 (KJV)   And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.

Numbers 6:20 (KJV)   And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.

 naw-zeer'; or nazir, naw-zeer'; from Hebrew 5144 (nazar); separate, i.e. consecrated (as prince, a Nazirite);

Yahshua was a Nazerine and is Prince of Princes he could drink after the wave offering but chose not to until after the resurrection.

Matthew 26:29 (KJV)   But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Yahshua had to fulfill the first fruits offering and the old Testament saints were that first fruit offering to YahWeh “the Lord”

The first fruit wave offering had to be given the day after Sabbath.

Leviticus 23:11 (KJV)   And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

Yahshua was resurrected on the Sabbath but he couldn’t present them to the Father until Sunday .Before and During the time he was with Mary the Old Testament saints the many went into the city for a witness of their resurrection the the saints their.

Matthew 27:53 (KJV)  And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Then Yahshua ascended on high with all the resurrected saints and the rest of the saints that were in Abrahams bosom to deliver Abrahams bosom to the paradise compartment in Heaven and to deliver the many resurrected old testament saints to Yahweh for a first fruits wave offering.

Psalm 68:18 (KJV)   Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

Ephes. 4:8 (KJV)   Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Many of the old Testament saints were the first fruits the wave offering these are the 12 of the 24 that are in Heaven before the tribulation begins.

Rev. 4:4 (KJV)   And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

After the wave offering this completed the Passover ,first fruits and feast of unleavened bread. of  YahWeh“the Lord”

 Leviticus 23:10 (KJV)

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

After Yahshua had completed the first fruits offering to the Father then he came back to earth and walked with Peter “so called Cephas” and Cleopas.

1 Cor. 15:3-5 (KJV)   For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

Luke 24:18 (KJV)   And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

Luke 24:25-27 (KJV)   Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Yahshua began Expounding to them the books of Moses “the Tanach  and explained the Feast of YahWeh and how they were fulfilled to the exact moment by Yahshua. Then he Expounded all that was spoken of him in  the Tanach and the prophets.

He explained how he was the Lamb of  Eloheem ‘God” and how he came as that humble servant. He explained how he came to fulfill the Torah “the Law” the spring feast and how he would come in the last days and fulfill the Fall feast of YahWeh “the Lord” and come as reigning King “King of Kings  and Lord of Lords”.

OT Prophecy: Isaiah 53:5 'But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed.'

NT Fulfillment Matt 27:26 'Then they released Barabbas unto them and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.'

7. Be sold for thirty pieces of silver
OT Prophecy: Zech 11:12 'And I said to him, If you think it is good in your sight, give me my wages... So they weighed out thirty pieces of silver for my price.'

NT Fulfillment Matt 26:15 'What will you give me if I deliver him unto you? And they agreed with him for thirty pieces of silver.'

8. Be spit upon and beaten
OT Prophecy: Isaiah 50:6 'I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked out my hair: I did not hide my face from the shame and spitting.'

NT Fulfillment Matt 26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and hit him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands

9. The betrayal money thrown in the temple and used for a potters field
OT Prophecy: Zech 11:13 'And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter that magnificent price at which I was valued by them. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter in the house of the Lord.'

NT Fulfillment Matt 27:5-7 'And he threw the pieces of silver into the temple... And they conferred together and with the money bought the Potter's field as a burial place for strangers.'
This is a remarkable prophecy for it is God who says 'Cast it to the potter that magnificent (sarcasm!) price at which they valued me...' How could man put a price on God? It doesn't make sense until God Himself, Jesus Christ, came to earth and was valued and betrayed for exactly 30 pieces of silver!

10. Cast lots for Jesus' clothing
OT Prophecy: Psalm 22:18 'They divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.'

NT Fulfillment Matt 27:35 'And when they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments among themselves by casting lots.'

Statisticians have calculated that for all of the above prophecies to be fulfilled in one person it is a combined probability of One chance in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000! And this is limiting ourselves to just these 10 prophecies! Jesus claimed to be the fulfillment of the Old Testament Messianic prophecies, and now we have seen that His life and death did accurately fulfill these prophecies made hundreds of years before.

After the First fruits then comes the Feast of Pentecost

From the 18t. of Nisan, seven complete weeks, i.e., forty-nine days, were to be reckoned, and this feast was held on the fiftieth day. Acts 2:1 (KJV)   And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place They are 50 days from the day the firstfruits of the barley harvest was waved before the Lord, (50 days from the morrow after the sabbath after Passover), is Shavuot or the Day of Pentecost. Rabbinic scholars believe that it was on this day that God visited His people after their exodus from Egypt. YHWH/God, through Moses, brought the Law down from Mount Sinai. This earthshaking day of visitation, trembling, and betrothal is the birthday of the nation of Israel. Moses brings down the Torah or Law for the nation. The Old Covenant is a national covenant between YHWH/God and His covenant people. And so the nation of Israel is established. They agree to follow Him in devotion and obedience. In spite of past failures Israel will be fully restored(Eze.37)This will be accomplished in the power of the New Covenant. God's law is written in the hearts. (See Jer.31:31 & Heb.8:8) Zechariah saw the nation of Israel repenting and receiving Messiah as Jerusalem was surrounded by armies at the close of this age. (Zech 12:7-13:1) Which will fulfill the Feast of Trumpets Yowm Kippur which that day will be Jubilee.

They are 50 days from the day the firstfruits of the barley harvest was waved before the Lord, (50 days from the morrow after the sabbath after Passover), in the summer of the year of our Lord's passion, God visits His people. It is another earthshaking day of visitation and betrothal. The Holy Spirit fills the 120 in the upper room.

The outpouring continues as they go out into the streets of the city of Jerusalem proclaiming the message of redemption and salvation. The Feast of Pentecost is fulfilled in the New Covenant and the Day of Pentecost becomes the birthday of the Church. This first Holy Spirit revival spreads out into Judea, Samaria, and thence onward into the utmost parts of the world. The God of Israel continues to 'call out' His 'ekklesia', Congregation, or Church. YHWH-God's Congregation (Now expanded into the Church) continues to take the good news of the Gospel out through Israel and beyond into the gentile nations.

THE TIMING OF THE FEAST OF PENTECOST

The Feast of Pentecost was a holy convocation celebrated during the early summertime in the month of Sivan. It was time linked to the springtime celebrations of Passover.

Passover came on the 14th day of the month of Nisan. Nisan is the first moon to come to fullness after the spring equinox. The day following Passover evening was Nisan 15. This was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread It was a "high day", a sabbath, or day of holy convocation in which no servile work was to be done. The first and the seventh days of Unleavened Bread are both sabbaths.

The Passover festivities also included The Feast of Firstfruits. This was a celebration marking the beginning of the barley harvest, the first harvest of the year.(The Barley Harvest is symbolic of the Harvest of the Jews) On this day the first fruits of the barley harvest, a sheaf, or "omer" of barley was harvested and presented before the Lord as a thanksgiving "wave offering." (Lev. 23:10,11) The day of Firstfruits was the starting point for the counting out of the fifty days to Pentecost. Pentecost is a Greek transliteration of the phrase "fiftieth day". Firstfruits was on the First Sunday after Christ Resurrection the 18th. Of Nissan or Abiyb.

Barley harvesting could not be done on a sabbath. It mattered not whether that sabbath was the 'high day', the day of "holy convocation" of the first day of Unleavened Bread or whether that sabbath was a regular weekly sabbath. Firstfruits could not be celebrated on a Sabbath but was required on Sunday the day after.

Leviticus 23:11 (KJV)   And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

The outcome of this was as follows. The Feast of Firstfruits was usually the first Sunday clear of the sabbath of Unleavened Bread. The sabbath, the first day of Unleavened Bread was an "high day", a "holy convocation", or a sabbath, (holy day). This was a day in which no servile work was to be done. Every seven years the sabbath of Unleavened Bread was followed by another sabbath, a regular weekly sabbath. In such years Passover week had 'back to back' sabbaths.

And so the firstfuits of the barley was harvested and the omer waved before the Lord on Nisan 18. Firstfruits would then be celebrated on the first day after the regular weekly sabbath. This would therefore always be Sunday Nisan 18.

After Christ Resurrection at the 9th. Hr. Sat. 3 pm.on the 17th. the First fruits couldn’t be given until after the end of that day. They had to be Given after Sunday the 18th. after the 1st. hr. This is what happened in the crucifixion year. And that (Resurrection Sat. Nissan 17) Firstfruits came on Nisan 18. which was on a Sunday .Jesus was Resurrected on the 17th and the number 17 in biblical numerics is related to the "sons of God". For example, the ark came to rest on Mount Ararat on the 17th day of the month. This auspicious Firstfruits in the crucifixion year came four days after Nisan 14, or four days after the Sacrifice Lamb was slain at Passover . When Jesus was resurrected many old Testament saints where resurrected since he was resurrected on Sat. at 3 pm (9th.hr )Or exactly 72 hours after his death on Wed. at 3 pm.(9th. hr.) This means that the first fruits couldn’t be taken to the Father until at least after  the. (12th.hr.).When the Next day which was Sunday when  firstfruits was to be given.   Mary came early which would have been Sunday some time after the 1st. hr.)

The Jewish days ended after the 6th. Hr. The next day started then which would have been the 1st. hr. Where our days end at 12 midnight this is why we have to understand it from a Jewish perspective.

The First Fruits was always the anchor day for Pentecost. It was day #1 of the fifty days that are counted out to Pentecost, the "fiftieth day".

Lev.23:15-22. From the scripture we see that from the Feast of First Fruits seven weeks, or forty-nine days were counted. This was called "counting the omer". The day following, the fiftieth day, was the wheat harvest. (Lev. 23:10:11) On the "fiftieth day" or "Pentecost" or "Shavuot" - the firstfruits of the wheat harvest was celebrated. On this day two loaves of bread baked with leaven were waved before the Lord. This was an act of thanksgiving before Him for the bounty He had provided. (Lev. 23:16-20)

The Day of Pentecost came 50 days after the Feast of Firstfruits. In the crucifixion year Firstfruits came on Sat. by our calendar  but Jewish time it was Sunday the 17th of Nisan. Counting out those 50 days through a 30 day month followed by a 29 day month we come to Sunday the 7th of Sivan. The fiftieth day, is Shavuot (Hebrew) or Pentecost (Greek).

THE DAY OF PENTECOST AND THE BRINGING OF THE LAW/TORAH AT SINAI

What is the Old Covenant connection with Pentecost? We are not specifically told the exact date in which the Torah was given to Israel thus establishing them as a nation in covenant with YHVH/God.

But we are told that the children of Israel did come into the Wilderness of Sinai "in the third month".

That was the Pentecost summer month of Sivan.

EXODUS 19
1. In the third month
after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt,
on the same day, they came to the Wilderness of Sinai.

For two and a half millennia Rabbinic scholars have believed that Pentecost was the day Moses brought down the Torah or Law from Mount Sinai. The month is certainly on target. And the giving of the Torah would certainly fit the spirit, character, and pattern of Pentecost very well. Pentecost is a day of covenant making and betrothal between YHWH/God and His covenant congregation.. On this auspicious day the God of Israel comes down to earth in an awesome day of visitation.

Pentecost is the Hebrew Feast of Shavuot or "Weeks". Seven weeks are counted off. The fiftieth day marks the beginning of the wheat harvest. So the "Feast of Weeks" or "Shavuot" in the Old Testament is called "Pentecost" in the New Testament. Pentecost is a Greek translation of the words "fiftieth day". This was when the Festival was celebrated (Lev. 23:15,16).
