Some basic rules I follow for trading:
1) I am not some 14-year old kid making deals on cards I don't have. I am not new to on-line trading. I have been trading online for 7 years now. I was an admin. and moderator at SportsCardSheriff.com before they sold out to TradingCardCentral. I am in my 30's, not my teens.
2) I like to trade base for base, auto for auto, Game-used for Game-used. The only exceptions to this are when I am trading for someone I collect.
3) I trade off of Beckett Book Value. Don't tell me that "player X is kind of cold right now so his cards are goin' down on the street." If you want to trade for street values go out in the street and trade, or go to eBay.
4) If I have a $100 card you want, offer me a $100 card in exchange, not 10 $10 cards, not 5 $20 cards! I might consider 2 cards for 1 (like 2 $50 cards for a $100 card), but 2 would be the most.
5) If you make me an offer, or tell me to check your page or PhotoBucket, and I don't see anything I need, I'm sorry. That's it. Don't keep bugging me to death over a card you want, if you have nothing to offer in return. Please. It's very annoying, not to mention, it's rude.
6)Sportscardfreaks.com members - Beware of member "brandonmarshallfan". They ripped off my 6-year old son! How gutless and retarded do you have to be to rip off a 6-year old. We sent them a 2007 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia Stargazing Trent Edwards Jsy /100. Received nothing in return. What a loser, to rip off a 6-year old is pathetic.
