Raised in the far-east(India) amidst a rich and varied culture and lots of emphasis on character, I met and married my husband there. We moved to the United States in 1998. I work in the IT industry, but the world of children and the endless opportunity to make a difference in their world has always appealed to me.
I started writing books for children in the year 2007. I am currently writing under the pseudonym "Vishpriya". My first book will be published this summer(2008) by Guardian Angel Publishing.
I am eternally grateful for all the love and inspiration my parents have provided me, my husband's constant encouragement and understanding, my brother's pride in his sister and his love and my daughter's unabating, unconditional love and affection. Without any of them, I wouldn't be anywhere close to achieving any of my dreams.
