Well, its been a day or two, but here is some new info.

We will be going to record a new CD tomorrow. Probably just a 4 song demo with some new stuff and maybe re-do some of the old songs. This demo will sound alot different from our last album. Ron will be on the drums this time, Im going to be doing all the vocals, bass and guitar, and WE ARE bringing Slick Rick in to shred out all the lead parts. So keep checking in for the new music!! As soon as its done, we will have a CD Release party and you can pick it up there or at any of shows there after.

Also, There hs been a few up dates to the site so look around. There are some new live pics and just some little things like that. We also have a show comming up in a few weeks so make sure you get all that info off the shows page. Thanks to those of you who have stood by us in this time of change, you guys rock!!!

Thanks you guys for all the Happy Birthday shouts in the guestbook! You rock! Make sure you all come to the show this Friday!! Go to the Shows tab for directions. VanCo is going through some major changes right now. Lorraine is no longer with band, so we have decide to take a bit of time off and revamp what we do. We will be back playing shows by Jan. So dont worry, were not gone for good. When we come back you can expect some awesome things. We are working on some new music and some new styles. I will be doing all the lead vocals now. We are going to be auditioning for another guitar player and possibly a bass player. Thats not for shure yet though. Keep checking in on us to find out whats going on. We will have a new CD out early next year. Thanks for sticking with us!

Awesome news yall!!! VanCo will be on 91FM Sunday Oct. 31st to do a live interview and play an accoustic set on the air. So make sure you all listen at 8:00pm on the 31st!!

Also, we have some RAD shows coming up so make sure you all keep checking the shows page. The Forum is also kciking again so drop by and leave your mark!

And by the way, VanCo is now in the rotation for 91FM in the evenings so make sure you keep calling in and requesting "We Fall Down" - If you guys keep rockin like you are with enough requests we might be able to get on in the day time too!! So thanks and keep up the good work!

Well, Im sorry to say that the only reason Im updating the site is because Jason and Ron said I wouldn't and I dont want to lose fifty bucks. Not that I dont like you all Its just a busy week for me.

But since I am here I do have some things to tell you all.

We now have offically added Jason Vic as our new PERMANENT bass player. This guy not only rocks on the bass but he is incredibly funny. So next time you come to a show make sure you meet him!! There will be a Jason tab soon so you can find out more about him.

We Play this Friday night in Bethany so everyone needs to be there to rock with us!! Check out the shows page for more info!!!

Ok heres the deal...

Hey everyone!! Its been a long time since there has been any updates on this page, so I guess its about time. Well, there is a bit of new news in our world. we kinda took July off from playing any shows but that gave us time to write some new music and get to know our style a bit more. Also, we are getting our new guitar player this month, hopefully, so I will let you all know who they will be when the time comes. That being said, look for VanCo shows to be starting up again,at the end of this month. I think you will all LOVE the new stuff.

Also, Thanks to the mighty Ron Norvell, We were on the Underdog show tonight on 91FM! So, thanks Ron, way to be a team player!!! So everyone needs to start calling in and request "We Fall Down" to 91 and ask them to play VanCo!! AIGHT? AIGHT! Their number is 460-9136. Thanks everyone!!

What can I say, the show at The Void last Friday was less than perfect. We started out with a few sound issues and then the crowd just never seemed to get into any of the music. But oh well, what doesnt kill us makes us stronger. Make sure you all check out the "What is VanCo" section of the site and try to win some free stuff!!! Ill shout more at ya when time allows!!

Ok, I just want to say to all you cats from Cresent, YOU FREAKING ROCK!! We played in Cresent last night and it was awesome. It wasnt the biggest crowd we've played for but those guys just knew how to rock. So, thanks to everyone who came and to all who couldn't make sure you catch us This friday, the 21st at the Void with Layman Fryer. Its gonna be a rad show!!

Hey everyone!!! Its been a while since I've put anything on here, so I thought today would be a good day to do so. Well, we have a new fill in bass player!! Yea for us! His name is Ryan and this cat rocks!! We have a couple of shows coming up so make sure you check them out. The group chat we had a couple weeks ago went really well, sooooo were gonna have another one!! This Thursday at 8:00pm we will be back for another go. Summer is coming up pretty fast and were starting to fill up our schedule, so keep checking and make sure you dont miss to many shows.

Well, in other news, With much sadness, I have to let you all know that "Slick" Rick will not be playing with us anymore for the time being. Things are still all good with everyone, he just needs to take some time off from playing and get other things done right now. But dont worry, we are planning on him coming back. That being said, We are looking for another guitar player. So, anyone who thinks they can step up to the task, email me at Vancomusic@hotmail and we will set up an audition for you.

Ok, Yes I put a Chat Room on the site! Alot of you have let me know that no one is ever in it. Soooooo, We can schedule, if you will, times for group chats. We can try it and if it doesnt work we'll take off the chat room. So, TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY AT 10:00pm we will all meet in the chat room, so be there or be.....somewhere else.

Hey everyone!!! We are now www.vancomusic.com !!! "How cool is that......so I went to your room and read your diary......" Oh, sorry ya just cant stop when Weezer starts to come out. Well, we had fun playing at the Rockin Roller Rink last night. I hope we made a few new fans.........and by the way things went, I know we did!!! Things just flowed really well last night. For those of you who didnt come, you missed a good show. I did have to play bass though so we werent able to have the full sound that we like, but that didnt stop our preformance any!! We will be playing there again June 19th so if you didnt come this time make sure you come then. We have several shows coming up so check out the shows page and make sure you come to them all!!!!

Well, sad news. We're not going to be able to play the show in Texas. We really need a bass player!!! So please if you know anyone email us at vancomusic@hotmail.com and let us know. We're trying to book shows so we can get out there and get "Rockin" but its hard to do without a bass. Also, we are in need of yet another guitarist. So if anyone wants to audition for that part let me know. No, we're not getting rid of Rick, so don't cry yet!! And some good news.....We will now have Mp3's up on our site!!!! Yea for us!!! Also...I dont wanna sound like a broken record, BUT THE FORUM NEEDS YOU GUYS!!!! Hook it up you guys! Well, I thinks thats all for now but I hope to see and hear from you all soon!!!

What up all you crazy cats?!? I've been looking at the counter on the website and i see that people visit everyday!! Very cool, thank you guys!! So then i thought how boring is it to just read the same stuff over and over again, so i thought i would put somthing new on here. REMEMBER THE FORUM IS UP AND RUNNING!!!! We only have about 4 members, so go get on, sign up and start posting. Also, our next show will be at The Living Room in Tyler Texas on April 16th. Well everybody, we are proud to let you know, we have added a new member to the band. Ron Norvell is our new drummer. Ron played with us at our last two shows and we love having him as a new addition. Tell Ron how happy you are to have him with us on Wed. when you all come to the show!!!

The CD release party was AWESOME!  Thanks to Reborn for opening up for us and bringing sound.  Thank you to Rick Threlkeld for running sound that night.  There are a few shows in the works. Check the shows page, they will be added soon.

It is Friday the 13th.  I AM SO SCARED!!!!  What am I supposed to do??  Let me tell you something.  VanCo had a blast playing at the Kingfisher Babtist Church on the 11th for their annual TRUE LOVE WAITS meeting.  Very fun.  Thank you to everyone who came in support.  CD's should be in any day now in time for the CD release party next Saturday the 21.
