Music I Listen to

Some of it is rock, metal, opera, Brechtian Punk Cabaret, trip-hop,pop, goth/dark rock, Post-Grunge, Grunge, doom metal, Electronica, Artistic, Electronic, one of them is even pagan rock . . . . etc. But it all has one thing in common - I listen to it.  Give these creative bands a chance.

BANDS
Most of these sites are the official band/label made sites.  A few of them are fan sites, due to the band breaking up, or one of the members (i.e. the lead singer - in the case of Nirvana).  But no matter who made the site, you can find info about the band, some have mp3s that you can download and so on. Have fun!!

Writers I Like

Some are paranormal, others are called Chick-Lit,  some are mystery,  some are fantasy . . others might be slash (if you don't know what that is, don't ask me - they have warnings by them) . .  and so on.

The slash ones are the only ones that will have warnings, but  others are questionable as well, vampires, werewolves, horror and so on.  The slash ones are the one's I expect to get hate mail for . . some also have BDSM, I'll give those warnings too.

An overall warning:  I think that MOST of these are 18 years or older, so it's up to you to treat them as such.

NOTE: I might miss some of the slash, BDSM things, so don't get mad if I do. Just email me about it and I'll fix it ASAP. Don't forget to tell me the link you want fixed!

LifeHacker
This is the site for the computer geek in all of us :)  Really, what this site is is a software review and tech info site.  I love it.  I have it on my Thunderbird RSS reader.  Yet another reason to LOVE Thunderbird. :)  This site has downloads of the day and lots of help when it comes to email applications and gmail (those people are Gmail addicts - sounds like me), Thunderbird  help/tips and lots of great people. :)  Visit, you never know what you might learn :)

Software I Use

All this section is is a small ad space for the software that I use.  I'm not getting paid for posting these links or anything, I just like the software :)
For now, all the things on this page are made by the Mozilla Project.  All of it is Free ware.

An alternative to Windows Internet Explorer.
You still have all the things you like about IE - bookmarks, homepages, tabs (in version 7) and so on.  But you can make Firefox your own - with themes, add-ons and lots of great things. It even has a feature were you can pause your downloads! No download manger needed!  YAY!
Sorry, but I really love this thing!
BTW, this webpage was made with Firefox :)

Another great thing made by the Mozilla team!
"Thunderbird delivers. Enjoy safe, fast, and easy email, with intelligent spam filters, quick message search, and customizable views. Brought to you by
Mozilla, Thunderbird makes email better." (Taken from the Mozilla site)
This is the only thing that I use for my email, sure I have gmail and yahoo, but you can use this to get your mail from both of them!!  You can even use it as
RSS reader, that's what I use to get the latest blog posts and news updates and I love it!  It can also be themed and has add ons available :)

"Mozilla-style ease-of-use for your calendar. Sunbird™ lets you manage your schedule easily, and store it where you want to."
An easy to use calendar application that can be used to remind you of anything from birthdays to when something that you want is coming out (i.e. book, CD, movie etc).
