Vampirates is the swashbuckling , supernatural adventures of 14-year-old twins Connor and Grace Tempest.
Orphaned , the twins are forced to leave their home in Cresent Moon Bay , to seek out a better life somewhere else in the world. However disaster strikes as a storm comes in and throws the twins apart , changing them forever.
Connor , is lucky enough to be saved by the Pirate ship 'Diablo' and begins his journey as a renowed pirate prodidy under the care of the fantasical Captain Wrathe. But is he really cut out for a pirate's life?
Grace , is found by a strange ship where she's kept under lock and key , being told by her rescuer Lorcan Furey that it's all for the better. But is Lorcan and the rest of the crew keeping secrets from Grace?
There are four books thus far in the Vampirates series. Deamons of the Ocean. Tide of Terror , Dead Deep (world book day release) and Blood Captain.
