The Legend of Corrent

The official appendix and fan page of the trilogy

Welcome to Valorien

This is a world where evil never rests. For thousands of years, Valorien has been under the pains of Boros, the demon lord from the netherworld. The last two thousand years have been years of remarkable prosperity and peace, especially in Corrent. Following the Great Civil Wars (which ended about 200 A.B. [after Boros]), there was a period where the church collapsed and the Stweard rule was established. Since then, all lore has been abandoned and legends have been burned, never to be written again. Some however hold to the truth: that there will be a saviour mong men.

Rising from their own, the Correntians never see the day when Johnathon Christian arises as the new king. Banished for an act of treason he did not commit, he conspires with the Steward of Wulrik, King Corelli II, to leave their beloved land for the mystical lands across the sea. It is here he is to search for the bane of man, called The Sword of Time.

John takes with him a group of long-time comrades: Lewick McCullough, archer and skilled ranger; Charles Fischer, elitist and poet; and Victor VonKamp, woodsmen and once-family-man, who recently lost his wife and kids to the peasant revolt in Villim.

They meet with a shady character by the name of Cristopher Palmas, who, by name, is renowned for vigilante acts across the country of Eaton and Quido, which to the men is so foreign they believe it only to exist in myth. They cross the treacherous Juraga Mountains to find a small gypsy village amidst a hellish monster brawl. These are the last stand for the northern kingdoms against a very fast intrusion of Vladian creatures. It is amid these fields that john realizes the deep peril the world is in, and Quido is hardly the worst scenario.

Over the next few months they travel across the world, gathering wisdom and trade, and most importantly, the Sword of Time. It is John's duty to carry the weapon, face his foe, and release the world from the endless millennia of torture it has experienced.
