In older children --primary and lower secondary? There are many good suggestions on the WWW. Evaluate the sites well and understand their perspectives before you use them or download them.  Please use a dictionary when in doubt about the meanings of various terms.

Assessment and Preparing for Presentations


1.  Lecturers  will have already provided you with details on how your assessment for this course will be structured.

  (a). Attendance at all classes is mandatory.

  (b).  Course Work: 50% to include an oral/visual group presentation.

  (c).  Final Exam: 50%

5. To prepare for a quiz. keep short notes to yourself in one place about important concepts. Think about your experience
in teaching and learning Literacy since this will bring these concepts to life for you. Review your notes often, not in a laboured fashion.

Sometimes you can do this  while having lunch. Be sure to raise problems in class for discussion and to look for solutions. Take part in the Forum.
