The Union Twp. Fire Department, Clearfield County Station 40, is located in Rockton, PA. We cover Union Twp., and assist Brady Twp, Sandy Twp, Penfield, Lawrence Twp., Grampian-Penn Bloom, and Curwensville Fire Departments in Clearfield County.
We also assist Sykesville, Big Run, and Reynoldsville Fire Departments in Jefferson County.
Our membership is approx. 40 members, and most of our active members are trained both in firefighting and rescue skills.
The Union Twp.Civil Defense Fire Department was formed in 1958. Our coverage area is 32.5 square miles, which includes all of Union Twp. as well as Rockton and the village of Home Camp.
